i picked charmander but restarted my game and switched to squirtle when i found out he evolved into blastoise. charizard may have the best stats but blastoise will pwn charizard any day of the week. in Silver i chose cyndaquil and in ruby i chose treeko.

I think my first starters were Bulbasaur/Cydnaquil/Torchic/Turtwig. I tend to go by how cool I think they look.

i mostly start with squirtle. I find the game more easier if i start with it. dont get me wrong i, i like charmander better than all of them.

i will pwn you with water hahahahmm i choosed charmander as well, then squitle and then bulbasaurdid you notice the cicle? water kills fire, fire kills grass, and grass kill waterI chose Charmander. Fire FTW

Bulbasaur. Most people choose charmander or squirtle though:(. No bulba love.Charizard is the most useful though. Starmie is better than Blastoise is my opinion and I just don't like poison/grass.

Always chose Squirtle before alternating with the other starters everytime I restarted the game.

I always choose Squirtle because he has the least disadvantages. Also, many people pick charmander so I pick squirtle so I have an advantage.

The very first time I played I picked Squirtle, now I'm more partial to Bulbasaur. :3 I always use grass-types and electric-types as my starting-out partners!Grass-types rule! Erika rules! x3

the first time i played the game it was squirtle, and is one of my favorites. but once in awhile when i start over i use charmander instead.
