after i got my first pokemon game i saved turned off and thought about which 1 to choose 
i ended up getting charmander but i like yellow b/c u get all 3.

Ha! ya'll are noobs. Squirtle has the best stats. Balbasur evolves the fastest but has the worst stats. Charmander has high attack and speed but low defense. Squirtle has high defense and high attack but low speed. Squirtle is literaly the best choice.

i dont really like any of them i go with the most suitable starter you know the one who can beat the first 2 gyms lol B)lolz i like bulbasaur i always use him my favorite ^.^

i pick charmander as firstIt was so far back that I can't remember even though I am pretty sure it was a Bulbasaur

Charmander is defiantly the best pokemon because its the only pokemon that evolves with wings through all of the series.

I like charmander because it evolves to an amazing cool dragon-charizard.And because it is easy to find grass pokemons so it is easy ot level it up and to find other varities.

My first time ever, I chose charmander. Now, when I replay the games, I use whichever comes next. I've beaten the game with all three, but, personally, I would choose charmander, because you dont get access to any other fire pokemon until much later in the game.

I chose Bulbasaur the first time, and then Charmander the second. But in Yellow it's always Pikachu of course.
