I think Far Cry did when it came out. It was stunning but only ran that good on fast machines with good processors. I had a gcpu installed just for this game.

From the few games I have played....I would say FEAR has good graphics, Oblivion is just...beautiful.Prey has a unique look to it, maybe not the best but it is unique.

Gah, Halo 2!?! Not even close! Halo 2's graphics are good, but they aren't that good. And the game still suffers from clipping errors like mad. My vote has got to go for CoD 3 or Half Life 2.

You all know nothing of Crysis :P Crysis has, hands down, the most amazing graphics I've ever seen. However, Half-Life 2's Source engine is extremely powerful. Valve built Source to be able to update the engine as time goes on, so they don't have to worry about making an engine before making a game, so essentially they can crank games out faster. Source, over time, will be updated more and more often to accommodate with modern graphics technology, so I think it is the most -capable- engine out there.

Myst 5 end of ages has, by far, the greatest graphics i've ever seen. How many other games give you a scenic view of outerspace?

Quite honestly, I'd have to say Tron 2.0. It's an old game and the graphics aren't as "good" as some newer games, but for fitting the genre, they were absolutely perfect. No increase in texture quality or anything could have made the graphics fit the game any better. Inside a computer, in the Tron world, all you need are glowing cubes, and the game delivers. :(

100 % Half-Life 2

Not anymore. Pretty soon either UT2004 or FEAR will beat HL2's graphics because of the high system requirements.
