When I complete a game 100% I then proceed to the next. This is what drives me to play; beating the game. I will not stop playing until I have beaten everything.

I'm always for the sense of accomplishment so I try to finish 100%. For some games, it's fun to try to do it too. Because you replay the game and it keeps you interested. For example take Tales of Symphonia. I haven't finished it 100% yet. Which may be kind of sad seeing how I've played it over ten times. But I haven't gotten bored of it because there is still more to do

I'm neurotic about 100% completion, especially in RPG's, so yes, I strive for perfection in my gameplay.

I'm only crazy about finishing a game with a good story. :PSome I just play to beat and some are too long... like Star Ocean 3.... It's been over a year and I'm still not done.

Finishing a game 100% gives some people a sense of accomplishment, such as me. It is an added challenge to beat a game 100%, and even more so 100% on the hardest difficulty in the game. And your game won't get corrupt if you are able to back it up.

Yeah that's how I feel. But I have to agree that after a while some of those games get shelved. :lmao:

No Not really...It's just wasting time and get bored of it, Then, later on, your memory card erases it, like what happened to me... (Need for speed most wanted)

I think it is worth it because when a friend needs help then you will have the answers and if you know where everything is it makes it easier to play the game and gives you a faster time because you don't have to waste time looking for objects you need

C-P-U: Well, if the game is like, Fire Emblem, how you can get side-quests and finish other Lord's chapters, I try to complete EVERYTHING. Else, I just get through the main story....

That's the same way I feel most of the time. But usually I just lose interest after awhile.

I only finish a few games 100%. Those are games that I really, really enjoy. Sometimes it will unlock a secret ending, other times it just gives me that little push to move onto something new.

games are meant to be played in different styles because of the way some games make a 100% run possible and several games requiring multiple runs to beat several games such as final fantasy, Disgaea and other games. It's worth it if the way to beat the game and it's possible with a enjoyable game, but for several other games such as sonic 4, final fantasy 13 this isn't the case.

well getting a 100% on a game gives you bragging rights and a small sense of achievement... there are those types of people who just cant stop playing till they get everything but there are those kinds of games that could really become a pain to "complete"and "perfect", a very good example of that would be disgaea.... other games like kingdom hearts are easier to complete

If you are talking about PS3 now, then its a YES for me >:DWell, i would really reconsider if the achievements are really hard to get and all, so probably i'll pretend i see nothing =w=...But its pretty much less of a choice if you are presented with a complete guidebook even if you are already at the final boss stage in a game..... and that was what my brother did to me. Tossing a guidebook while i was fighting in Orphan in Final Fantasy XIII.DAMNATION.

I think it depends on the game really. When it's a game that's focused on strengthening the player it's a lot of fun, like Castlevania or Contra for example or even some kind of shoot-em up. But when it comes to strengthening an avatar, it can be really tedious. Like some Metroidvanias or some RPGs.I think it comes down to how much you like a game really.

it all depends on the game... if its a game with multiple endings and you really love to play that game. its a "yeah i'll do it" thing but if its just getting 100% as in collecting all items and doing boring stuff and not doing anything different... than you would properly get bored of it and not play it
