which do you prefer? I like CS 1.6 better, i reminds me of old school times.

I have only played 1.6 but I like its ability to switch between fast paced and slow & steady gameplay.

the only good thing in source is the scenarios , because on 1.6 or Condition Zero you can download the sknins from internet and replace them and you get source skins for CZ 1.6

Im not a person who picks a game for the graphics but one of the reasons i like source better is because of the graphics

I prefer 1.6.Considering all my friends play it and they dont bother with source.But theyre both good games

I like 1.6 better than source. Sure, source looks nice but it is too easy. No recoil from weapons, anybody can play. 1.6 takes more skill.

I personally prefer Source but many people still prefer 1.6, though im not actually sure why.

I prefer Source, better graphics and its more fun than 1.6.In the 1.6 the people is too serious.

1.6 is better. Although source has better graphics but because its too easy it makes the game lose its charm and difficulty

I like Source better because I can't stand 1.6's sluggishness or the graphics.Not that I'm a graphics whore, but I like Source bettah.

CS 1.6 is where people first began, so they have remained there. All the Pros still play 1.6All the people that want to go to the new source version are basically... "n00bs" explaining that it is much EASIER than 1.6.But I prefer 1.6 becuase it's what I grew up on.

I prefer CS:S. The guns feel easier to use, which cuts both ways - it's also easier for people to shoot you. The mods are more interesting, the playerbase is generally more fun, and the grenade physics are much more intuitive than that floaty BS you see in 1.6.The one thing that pisses me off about CS:S is the lack of riot shield. It was underused in 1.6, but it's exactly what the game needs, and it's really stupidly good if you're playing as an actual team. Nothing frustrates an AWPer like getting psyched by a shield-user.... except getting psyched by a shield user and then getting counter-AWPed by his pal hiding behind him. Good times.Plus, I like more precise headshot detection and such.
