What are you talking about, the best of final fantasy story are: FF III, FFIV, FFVI, FFVII, FF IX, these are the best story i ever played. Most Beautiful scenes of game is FF IX super character designe and lands designe too. ^_^:o:)

On the ps2 the story of FFX is the best even with all that stupid blitz ball stuff.

Ya.But I prefer Final Fantasy X in terms of Story.The music is also good

final fantasy x had the most integrate story but i fav ffvII

The best in history context i think is between 7 and 9. the best bad guy is Sephi and the best game i think are 7 and 10 but all are fabulous. I donīt like very much the system mechanic of xii...

I personally believe that FFXII had the most intricate story of all of them. I would have gotten a novelization of that game. In terms of rpg fun Id have to say FFV since it was easiest to pick up and play. The best bad guy was definitely Kefka from FFVI. He was genuinely evil unlike some other bay guys who get all the praise(sephiroth and seymore for example). BY the way, did anyone else seem to notice that after FFVII all the main female characters are pretty much the same. C'mon, Yuna and Rinoa may as well be sisters.

Hmm I believe I would say FFVIII, because it was a story about love and trying not to lose it when you found it.

Final Fantasy VI. I loved the operatic themes, as well as the dramatic struggles of each character. By far, the best!

Final Fantasy really moved me with the different character developments, and let's not forget the limit breaks those were like heaven but in your hands and in control :shifty:. The most out of all reasons to love this game would have to be because of Sephiroth, the most evil person you ever lay eyes on

its hard to chose between ff7-9 for me, each had just an amazing story, personally ff7 is my favorite game however if we go off purely story i would have to say ff9 even thuogh ff8 was amazingff9 just blew it away, especially the ending, just wow...how all the characters are woven together, they really play some interesting emotions and characteristics that most games dont include, such as vivi being clumsy or steiner and freya getting at it, that red hair guy wtih claws *forgets name atm* arrogance yet honor code, most games dont have such deep character developmentthe emotions and feelings portrayed for each character be it a friend, a brother relationship *vivi/zidane or zidane/that silver hair person *forgets name again...* princess and zidane, beatrix and steiner and their duties to the princess/alexandria getting in the way..just goes onas for ff12 :/ its to political and not really a involved story that brings u in, just kind of a campaign u dont really feel any attachment/loss, as if ur an observer, ffX and ffX-2 just....to short, simple, underdeveloped

FFXII had the most... 'realistic' story to a certain extent, it certainly felt the most realistic compared to the rest of them anyway.In terms of beauty, no doubt Final Fantasy Nine, the destruction of Terra... Zidane's past. Everything was perfect, it fitted toghether in such beautiful harmony.Final Fantasy Eight was probably the best of all the stories though, it was gripping and it was very interesting if you could tolerate Squall's awkward silences to see the development in the characters.Then again Ten also had a lot of development and in my opinion, the best ending out of all the games.

hehe the number 99999 when u hit calm lands kinda ruined gameplay for me especially by time lulu hit it with melee :/but this is about the story not the game play ^_^
