I strongly suggest (unless you really NEED IT now) waiting at least for the PS3 price to have its drop which is expected in April. There is a large enough amount of games out (in my opinion) but wait for the drop, why spend 100$ to get it a month of too sooner. The only real exception to this is if you are buying an old one. The new ones (80gb) are not backwards compatible meaning they can not play PS2 games, so if you are getting an old one that can, the price will not likely drop, so you should grab it now.

i want to wait until the ps3 get cheaper then i'll decide if i want to get it since most games in it now that i want are also in xbox360 which is cheaper and doesnt hav good exclusive games i want to play

good call waiting to buy one. companies always like to jerk us around releasing the pooty consoles first just to get them out, then making a hundred different versions of the console, then dropping the price. but now is a good time to get a ps3. some great games coming out, like RE5

I don't think its worth it to buy a PS3 coz its still can't be crack. You have to buy original game to play with ur PS3 and the PS3 game is not cheap. I am still waiting for it to be crack. I wonder if it is cracked able...

The price drop, that's what I am waiting for.It seems it has now dropped down to $299, which is like getting an Xbox 360 Elite Console,but by the time I get enough money saved up there'll be a playstation 5 with my luck.My main hopes is that there is a bit more of a drop in price around Christmas time.

theres still not too many games quite a while after it was released and its still super expensive. rpg wise its terrible.who else is going to buy their ps3 after a year or so, because your waiting for more games for this new franchise? and if you have already bought a ps3, why did you? have any information on ps3 games that i'm just not seeing, could you provide names and links, thanks.

yes i did to all Sony consoles PSX 1995 bought it 1997, PS2 2000 bought it 2001 and PS3 2007 bought it just this May 2009.
