I'm defiently a hardcore gamer. I owned a 150 PlayStation 2 games(I have a mod-chip) and have had a Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Sega Game Gear, Sega Saturn, Dream Cast, Nintendo 64, GameBoy Color, PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, PSP, GBA SP, and Xbox 360 Elite. In other words-I'm a video game addict.

Totally hardcore. I can't get enough of gaming, and pull at least 4 hours a day of gaming.

We will you these for minium requirements to see if you are hardcorePlay at least 3 or more hours a dayPlay at least 6 days a weekPlay and try to beat every game, difficulty, and get acheivments points almost all the timeand anything else that makes you hardcore Been to a Turnament(however you spell it) at least once(in it not watching)Uh..This is an impossible to answer question unless you specifically define what makes one a "hardcore" gamer. 8D

I have to say that I have become a casual gamer within the last few years. I was always a hardcore g. while growing up. I dont think I grew out of it, just other things have taken priority in my life.

I'm a casual gamer. All i can say is work sucks away most of my free time so I cant play games as long as I used to back in my high school years.

i'm an inbetween because i play a little on the weekdays (work and school) but when i need to i'll jump on H3 or WoW for as long as i need to so i'd say more hardcore than casual

Hmm, I guess by your requirements I'm not hardcore. But I consider myself to be a "serious" gamer though. I'm a major fan of PC gaming (go play World in Conflict!) and I own a DS cart, but I don't own all 3 next-gen systems nor to do play to "complete" a game. I have a fairly large collection of game, but most of them I obtained from bargain bin hunting.Hhhmm.... It depends, actually. If it's a game I REALLY like, then, I am what you call a "hardcore gamer". But for games that I'm not really fond of, I'm just a casual gamer.

I thought I was a hardcore gamer. Then as I went from teens to tweens things changed; I got access to more games, more games generally get released, and my time gets more and more encumbered in other things. Most importantly, I find that game difficulty has gone off the wayside and most products frustrate me too easily. With so many alternatives, I find myself abandoning games that annoy me pretty quickly, when I once stuck through thick and thin to beat some of the most awful games I've played.I still prefer a game like Half-Life 2 or BioShock to Tetris and Bejeweled. But the two games that I played the longest in the last year were Guitar Hero and Picross DS. A bit "times have changed", a bit "I have changed" I guess.So bottom line? Middle-of-the-road. Don't play as often nor games as complex as some hardcore types, but don't care for PopCap stuff either.
