I wish i could be hardcore again but i find myself enjoying playing a round of metal slug with a friend more satisfying than any next gen rpg or shooter.

I hear that. Game difficulty has been pretty misleading these days compared to the straight-forward difficulty of the past (more enemies, more bullets, less stupid, but "you" and everything you use remains exactly the same so its like playing with extra content).Most importantly, I find that game difficulty has gone off the wayside and most products frustrate me too easily.

Hardcore, but I don't play as much as I used to.I don't have a source of income just for me, I never just get money from my mom, and my mom can't afford games.So, needless to say, almost all of my games get boring after a while. If I had some way of playing fresh games a lot, I would be playing them TONS more.But, yea, I'm a hardcore gamer. I've been playing since I was 3 or so, I know a good deal of gaming history, and I can hold my own (if not more) in conversations dealing with new games and consoles.

For me....this isnīt meaning hardcore gamer......for me itīs beat game on hardest difficulty....get every extras, make every quest.....and discover anything what game show to us....Definetly Hardcore. Beat a game, mvoe on to another, beat it, then devour another, keeps going and going. @_@ Just like the energizer bunny.
