I cheat just for fun so yes if they have fun they win (and they usally beat the game)

Yes, WE win (the game, sooner than others) but if you compare skill, NO, in that we loose horribly, for the most part.

I've cheated probably on 50% of the games i play, i usually have 2 files; one for cheating and one that's for just playing normal and fairly. Cheating is fun because you get to typically kick the crud out of everything and everyone and you laugh and die. Then playing fairly is agonizing at times, but for me it's more of a sense of accomplishment.

Cheating is designed for winning, but it takes the fun away from a game. I mean, we all did the Cinnabar Island code in Pokemon like a bajillion times when we first got it, but after a while, it's better and more clever, not to mention exiting, raising them. Althought, the only game I probably couldn't live without cheating would be GTA. The games without cheats is just plain boring. Yet, when you have all the guns and health recovery codes, it's fun to create chaos.

I don't think so. In the long run you can miss or skip through the funnest part of the game or even worse make the game to easy which sometimes can defeat the purpose of playing the games. If your stuck on a super difficult stage or part of the game I would cheat in a heart beat but I feel better when I beat the game with out help. You get a sence of accomplishment. All been playing games for years and playing gameboy before I could walk or talk so take it from a true gamer.I do think so myself but do you ever get the feeling this is the life for those who are cheating and boy this is hard for the non-cheaters? I only cheat on games i have beaten at least once or when i get extremaly stuck of the situation is to difficult for me (which is pretty rare)

Cheating kind of removes the effort...so really, winning by cheating isn't as satisfying. So they don't really win.

Well I donno, one would think it would depend on what their cheating on and what cheats they use. If you think about it, some games actually have cheats that make it harder to play. For instance, if you've beaten a game but couldn't get the harder settings open. I know that sounds stupid, but it still all just depends on what they use and what their playing. On the other hand, ANYONE that needs to cheat at games that can be played online should see how sucky that is. However since its not illegal to use a cheat device on a game, theres no reason not to use it. Its just really really frowned upon by the companies that make the game. So in the end any one that cheats would win something they wanted game wise, thank the people that use to make game genie for kicking a game company's butt though.
