To me, theire like the wall that's blocking the gate to victory...Kay, that was a bit... cheesy-ish, but it's true. Though, that mainly goes to final bosses. The normal bosses... mean practically nothing to me, unless they give a hard time, then I'll note them as a annoying/tricky boss.

I think that stage bosses have a wonderful affect on a game - and have severely missed them in many recent games.

Certainly a clever well designed boss I can appriciate, one where it's a genuine test of the skills the game has been teaching you up to that point. A bit of padding that the game feels it "needs to have"...not so good.

Uhh.. Not really. They're just the thing at the end of something to me, I don't really pay much attention to them.

I really like bosses. they create a lot of tension in the game and the level. I know a lot of games that I played that I missed not being able to kill a boss in the entire game.

If i can beat a boss really easy and really fast then i would never remember him but if it were a boss that made me train for like a dozen hours then i still had a hard time beating it then i would remember it completly and maybe its weakness if it had any

Depends on what role the boss plays in the main storyline of the game. If he's a right hand man, a General of a Front line (Boss of First Stage) or the big "master mind" behind the whole conflict in the game.

Yes. Bosses are what make the game fun. When a boss shows up, you know you'd better watch your back. And front. And sides. Especially if you play a shooter. Hibachi is just meeeeeeeean.

It depends on the game's plot for me. If I'm playing a game where the bad guy's planning a major threat, I like to face him as a tough challenge, or that his difficulty matches the threat he's planned. In short... Boss threat = Boss difficulty. Exceptions to this rule are games that, even in the easiest difficulty, has an irritating final boss (Example: Empire Strikes Back, for the Snes, where I had taken nearly half an hour to beat Vader).

Well, sometimes they r just pointless because they give u no rewards. But in other game, like World of Warcraft, they r very important cuz they give u very good treasures. And they offer a challenge.
