I don't think they would add in anything but what they didn't get to add in before or finish with, such as as the 1/35 soldiers and the Aerith reviving secret. But I am against a remake if they change anything but battle graphics and up the music quality (It's just barely over midi quality).Yeah they might remake it but they might also change the storyline...

hehe... it would be nicebut i dont think they would, as the ps2 can play all the ps1 games. sorry to burst your bubble but its the truth, until sony make a playstation system not capable of playing the ps1 games then we're stuck with the origionals. they were gonna make a game sequel to FFVII with the money they would have made from The Spirits Within, but since it flopped then they didnt. They might howver make a game on Advent Children due to the fact that SqureEnix are hoping for the name FFVII to help with the sales of the movie. if they would then i would get it, and if they do release any games with the FF name then its a god dam garantee that they will sell.advent children had better come out in australia or otherwise Square Enix is gonna get quite a few complaints not only from me.

of course it would be better, if u fix anything its better. sure its fun to play the original version. but wit hgame play now and graphics as good as they are, im pretty sure more than half of game players around the world would perfer to play a more detailed version, most people would think of it as crap the way that it is now.

FF7 would be wicked with better graphics on the PS2. Although I did have the idea that they should make a live action film of it. Maybe split over two films so it wouldn't have to cut too much out, I think that would be awesome, but it'd need loads of CGI. Like The Matrix Revolutions. Which sucked. Ah well, they could try.

No. No. NO. NO. NO! NO!Can't we all just forget about the horrible triad of Playstation Final Fantasy games? Just let them die horrible miserable deaths peacefully. If they updated any game to PS2 quality graphics, it should be FF6, or FF3j, or Bahamut Lagoon, or Live-a-Live, or Der Langrisser. If they rerelease FF7 for PS2, I will have to get out the beating stick to knock away the rabid fanboys who don't know the difference between good (FF6) and horrible (FF7) and I don't want to do that.And because I know someone will get mad at me, here are the facts - EVERY character in FF7 is incredibly generic.Sephiroth is a complete pansy.FF7 is basically a rehash of FF6s storyline but they made it suck.Materia. Stupid.I really wish Kefka would just use his god-powers and time travel to FF7 and teach Sephiroth a thing or two about being evil. Sephiroth is a little Emo boy. Not cool. yea i think ff7 would be a good remake...id like to c how cool they would make cloud look...but i would rather see ff6 remade....i think another they should remake would have to be ff9....it was a good game even if it was the last ff on the ps1

hey i even think about this alot i have dreams of sqaurenix remaking FF7 the best Final Fantasy game to this time but i dont think they will... 
the reason why i think this is that they are already making FF7: Advent Child (PSP Movie), FF7: Before Crisis(cell phone gmae) and FF7: Dirge of Cerebrus (PS2 first person shooter with main charecter as Vincent Valentine)

Both were good games. If any FF is bad in my opinion it is X and it's sequal. I-IX I have no problems with. Yeah, to like one Final Fantasy is not to badmouth the other ones. I hear FFVI has the better storyline (2 princes who flip a coin for the kingdom? 
) But hey. Nuff said. The problem with making new battlesystems and remaking the Final Fantasy games is that their identity as a Final Fantasy game is partially lost if you do. Making better graphics and a better system for FFI is just the same as making a new game entirely, since it doesn't really push too much story (Save our Prince!) Rather, effort should be put into new games, maybe a different game series that uses that battle system. Besides, imagine a fully graphically revamped FFVII. It was 3 disks long with those really lousy graphics, because the game is fairly long (and large). We could skip the storyboard process, but you think they won't change the character graphics? Try to work in Advent Children story set-up? Not to mention convincing the developing team to redo it (what if they share my opinions on remakes?)

If they remake or more or less revamp anygames it should be on the next gen consoles. E.G. Get a national vote on a few games to be remade into PS3/NREV/XBOX, ect. I want a FFTactics remake. Also has anyone noticed how lots of people are remaking 3D into 2D games on the PC now? I would like some 2D versions of FFX and FFX-2

I hate when companies remake games or port old games onto new systems. This was a good game when it came out but move on. Move on and play new games. There are many out now that are better than FF7.

If they made ff7 like that with only good graphics it wouldn't be worth it...Look just take your ff7 cd remove the dust and play on your ps2!BUT. If the story would be enhanced it WOULD be worth a lot. Like if you began the game when Zack dies and you have to make your way through midgar to reach tifa at sector 7. (And yeah if you COULD see other sectors as much as you wanted) And there are so many hidden cutscenes explaining the story in this game that they could expand on. (Like the family link between Vincent and Sephiroth or the death of proffessor Ghast or just Jenova's arrival on earth.)The story is sooooo deep that you can play this game again and again and still learn new things. So if they kept expanding the overall massive story it would become the best game ever!By the way if you like ff6 more than ff7 its because you haven't played much.(Im looking at you Kaidyn) And those who wants Aeris to live are dumb. Didn't you realise that the game would be realllllllly easy if you could use holy straight in the forgotten city?The game could end right there! Why do you think sephiroth killed Aeris? Just for fun? Of course not! He knew Aeris was calling holy so he killed her right there.(You better play the game again if you don't understand)

yea i want the story to be enhanced and like maybe a ff7-2 with like the kh battle system I LOVED kingdom hearts battle system. and that would make that game sooo great and like maybe in ff7-2 u get to play as sepiroth!
