I was told that babies had to be purchased from the hospital.it only cost alot when the baby is more than their average weight.

I don't even remember what I thought it was before I knew about sex. I knew they came from other people somehow, you know, like your parents. I didn't really ask about the actual mechanism.

I used to think they came from flowers, and sometimes the hospital harvested them. :)I was like 5 when I thought that up.

i think i figured the same thing... or women got pregnant simply because they wanted to. and i thought there was a hole in mommy's tummy that it came out of... my mom got a shock when i asked to see the hole the baby (my sister) came out of!I used to thought that when a couple marries, the wife automatically gets pregnant lol

My mother told me that god placed the baby in mommy tummy and nine month later you had a baby, keep in mind i was very young so i could not know the difference.

this probably sounds sort of ridiculous, but i thought they grew from crips or beds or something and that the parents had to plant and look out for them while they grew

Lol, my mum used to told me babies came from the rubbish bins XDXD And I actually believed that and went to look inside every rubbish bin that came across my path! ROFL!

Y'know, I never really thought about it before my mom told me. She told me at a pretty early age though. I never really thought it was gross or a big deal.

My parents were never prudish on the topic, while they never outright told me I knew about it pretty much off the bat.I don't really remember a time being curious about it either.
