I would vote that they are getting worse. I haven't seen a truley unique Handheld game that will take a place in my heart since the gold and silver pokemon games.

I can't say all handheld games are getting worse, but most have become unbearably terrible.

some of the older titles are getting worse like pokemon but pokemon D/P did get a pretty good score from X-Play,who usually gives them bad scores.try Fire Emblem on GBA,they are really good

Well, I would say Advance Wars was one of the most unique games--a turn-based tactical game with RTS capturing and unit production.

The new, but not overwhelming updates from the first generation of pokemon games, the pokemon themselves, and how nintendo dealt with all the features, like the pokegear, and slightly (slightly) more complex story aroud the legendarys.Well, I think there are some handheld games that've just gotten way worse over time, but most of the ones I play are getting better.By the way, what did you like so much about Gold and Silver?

I say they are kinda better kinda worse the newer systems brake easier while the oldies are tough and rugged.

It depends on who the developer is and how they want the quality. But yeah i think games now for handhelds usually suck.

They are getting worse in my opinion. A lot of them are just recycling the gameplay and the storyline of the previous series. Another thing that I think why they are getting worse is people these days care about the graphics of the game too much. A lot of the games these days just are just eye candy. Company these days seens willing to spend less time on creativity.RaidenICE: Do you really think it is so rare to find people with a handheld? They are very affordable these days you know. Also, for some people who are unwilling to pay for the handheld, they can still use an emulator to play these games, which I'm not even going to get into.

hell no they are not degrading you dont expect good graphics like the xbox 360 or do you, no you dont, handheld were ment on the go gaming, not on really good graphics. but im not saying i dont like good graphics im just saying that handhelds were ment on the go gaming,

THEY KEEP GETTING BETTERSINCE GAME BOY, THEY SUCKED BALLS!THEY HAVE IMPROVED A LOT!(especially PSP's)

The graphics are better but alot of games aren't that playable and most of them have all been done before.

yes iot is very quickly as well because they are competing with the stat onary console but the shouldnt because it just leads to very blocky and choppy graphics

Games are getting incredibly better but i do worry coz the consoles are capable of far more accomodating entertainment.
