Might I suggest Brians Quest (Or Brains Quest [ I forgot ]) For the super nintendo, and Pokemon Silver for GBC... When you play pokemon silver (Or any other poke'mon games I would suggest using throttle in VBA lol

I love playing old games with emulators...though, for me games like Chronotrigger don't seem "old" to be because they are still so fun to play. I use to play the games on my SNES, but it is easier to go for "perfect" games in which you find all endings and all items, etc. with an emulator. Not to mention, it is nigh impossible to find the old SNES cartridges nowadays. Overall, I find that I enjoy the old games better. The games have to draw you in quickly with story and innovative playing style, rather than relying on fancy images, smoke and illusion.

Of course because the older the game the more likely it won't run properly or at all.DOSBox is great for Heretic ^_^

For most of the old console (NES, SNES, Segas, Gameboys) platforms, I use emulators. For DS, I use my neighbor's machine, as my own busted. For the old pc games, I have rather optional solution: I use 3 PCs; one fairly powerless and quite old for the oldest games and emus, one that's been bought around year 2000 to run the games that were published before WindowsXP and the one with what I play the latest games and most of the online-games.

Yes, not just to play other consoles' games (like GB,GBC,PSX,Dreamcast etc.), but also to play old DOS games that won't run on XP (I use DOSBox).

Of course I do. When I need to, obviously. Dune 2: The Building of a Dynasty doesn't require any emulation at all. WarCraft does, as do Space Hulk, Life and Death II - The Brain, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, and The Oregon Trail. So, yeah. You could say I emulate. A lot.

i'm definitely a retro gamer. i prefer all the old school games compared to the new ones. companies back then had so little to work with, that in order to make a quality game, they had to come up with a game that was truly innovative and iconoclastic. but ummm to answer your question: yes, i do use emulators!

Most of the games I get down on were old ass RPG's that I've already played and beaten. Super Mario RPG Represent!
