I use emulators to play old FF games, zelda, and some other random games I can find for some short thrills when I'm bored.

Aye, I use PSXeven and EPSXE. I seem to have issues swapping "discs" (ISOs, really) with EPSXE, though; can't finish Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. :P

whenever I find an old game I like I emulate it, but since I didn't grow up with games my knowledge about old games is quite limited (no I'm not researching old games just to find three oearls beneath the dosens of games so old that I would be better of playing their remakes >.< ) but I've got both a N64 emulater and a visual boy, both of which I use very often

Yes, I do use emulators to play the older games from systems like the NES, SNES, SEGA, and ATARI. In all honesty, I was raised primarily on these systems and loved playing classics like Pong, Zelda, and Paperboy. I still own most of these systems as well, I just prefer not having to use them all the time and possibly messing up the internal electronics from overusage. Having the emulators is also a convenient way to find stuff I may have missed on the original cartridge and then using that info later to find it on the real deal, so I'd say overall having emulators is a definite advantage.

Basically I'm just a gamer who played from any platforms (like PC, PSX, PS2, SNES, Arcade, and many more)For me gaming is to having fun, so I'm gonna do any effort for it.But most of all, if i want to play old games, I'll play emulator too. One of my favorite one was MAME32 and now I'm using MAMEXT32I usually play fighting games (like KOFs, AOFs, etc) using this emulator and they're running fine on it (even some games just won't work). One thing that I like from this emulator that it's free and it's easy to find almost all of the games that i want to play.

I am so glad that I discovered emulation. Without it, I would've missed out on awesome retro titles like Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Star Fox, Super Mario RPG, Mega Man X and Earthbound
