The max. lenth and width is 450 x 200 and the max size 50kb. It clearly says in the forum rules.EDIT:

Personally, I think it just depends on how the person wants a particular sig to look. I don't think there is a general sig size so long as it doesn't break the forum rules.

alrite one more question how do u put the pics where u want and how do you put in text?

1. I use 400 x 130.2. To move the pic just use the move tool and click the pic and move it. To put text in click the button that has a "T" and then drag a box on your pick. Then you can change colour, font, size ect.
