Well with all the previous mechanics used in most of the previous titles being removed, and with the added revenge random canceling left and right supers, specials i think it can be really aggressive once you have enough meterIMO i hope they keep it more of a turtle based game back to the basics like in sf2oh well, we'll see

Basically, the revenge meter can be used to roman cancel. That means that they're one step closer to making that Sammy VS Capcom game that never happened. :laugh:Street Fighter is still a bit too slow for my tastes, but it seems like they're speeding the game up a bit with each iteration. SF4 really does look aesthetically creative, though.

If it plays anything like SF2, I'm on board, but as of now very few are in any position to talk on the quality of a game that relies so heavily on twitch based gameplay that can only be judged by having actually played it.

The initial trailer blew me away, but the in game footage is sadly less epic. I'm a sucker for anime sprites so I do not like this change. It seems like a compromise to appeal to American audiences more. Boo.

2D fighters have a completely different depth and playstyle that 3D fighters can never hope to capture. I agree, I don't want to see another SF game suck so bad. They did try to incoperate some 3D into The EX serios, I thought it worked okay in those it was still basically 2D but you could side step and change the fighting angle too. Never know about Capcom though. who knows what they'll do.

Being a die hard SF fan, I'm totally looking forward to SF4. The trailer is really artsy and well put together. while I'm a fan of SF in it's 2d form, I'd be happy to see an SF in 3d format as long as it's done well.
