What do you think of my signature so far? I really like it. I'm not sure but I'm thinking of adding an overlay texture for a more artsy look. Any advice?

Hmmmm.... did you make that background? And... it's not very evil... not evil at all actually... it's ok.Only advice I can think of is to try and create your own backgrounds (this is only if you didn't make this one).

It's ok, I think if you blend the image into the background would be ok, but the background isn't that good. The background is ok if you made it. Needs brushes but if this is your style...EDIT: Well brushes give signatures life you can combine dark and light brushes to give your sign effects. Choosing different brushes helps a lot, but if you don't want that, ok, sry for the "Needs brushes" statement. I'm not talking about the brushes that come with photoshop(because they suck, IMO) I'm talking about self-made brushes that you can download or that you can make. Whatever. Grunge and Abstract brushes are the best.

It looks like you just used a pattern fill for the background and for the render you just cut out the backgrounds and just placed them. Font could be better to. Also that little start thinggy is so random and doesn't belong in my opinion.

I didn't make the background. I sampled it and modified it. Maybe gray stucko would be better? Or perhaps a village at night background. The current background is supposed to look like sewers bricking. It's not too apparent though...Master_X: "Needs brushes but if this is your style..." A brush is a tool that paints a solid color in a circular shape wherever your mouse moves it. Unless you have some sorta gin-eu-ien stayt-af-thu-aert brush that can do more than that, plz don't randomly state that a brush would help. Instead, in what MANNER might I use this new-fangled brush thingy your so adamant about?P.S. Of course it's evil, its got a pentagram, vampires, and a serpent's head. Aside from daemons and gore, how much more evil can you get? Hrm, though if memory serves, its the pentacle that is evil... hrmmmm.Edit: Fallen_Angel, it's spose to be some ritualistic graffiti or something. What would you recommend take its place?

When we talk about brushes were talking about specific types of brushes. One type is Grunge which gets you a background like the one i'm using now and the other type is abstract but I can't describe it good though. Go download some at deviantart.com and start a new background. If you want i'll tell you the easiest way (IMO) to make a grunge background. It'll look better than your current one and you would've done it your self.EDIT: If your going to stay to this evil theme and your going to keep it, then make it bigger and make it blended into your background.

Well here is a slightly modified version of the image. The background is the same but the font is a bit more appropriate, and the pentagram is less noticable and red.Posted ImageEdit: Fallen_Angel, download some what at deviantart.com? Make what bigger? I'll take whatever help I can get. :P

both versions suck. go to the sig makers dream thread and find out everything there. You'll make better sigs with that.

Well, I slapped my signature around a bit. Tried that grunge brush thing. Since there are 300 tutorials on how to make a grunge brush, I was able to make one straight away. However there aren't any tutorials on how to USE a grunge brush (that I could find). So I just fooled around with it and created a pretty cool bloody wall effect. I also made it slightly animated to give it a living feeling.Yes I KNOW I kept my background. I may well indeed change it later but this is what I've got for now... when I learn more I'll reattempt a new background.Well is my signature still GOD AWFUL :censored: like you all like stating oh so much?
