I've never broken a controller, I spilled a whole thing of juice on my xbox controller once and it ended up being sticky for a bit but thats all.

I have none but I think one of the Guitar Hero ones are getting close to it. Those don't seem built to last.

We only have two controllers, and while neither of them are broken exactly, they both have the same annoying problem. The L + R buttons on both of them (nearly all four) all get stuck in place quite easily. It makes gameplay quite annoying when your buttons gets stuck in the pushed position. But as long as we hit the buttons in a certain spot, it doesn't happen as often. It's just lame most times.

surprisingly as long as I had my PS2 my controller hasn't broke. sure it's squicky when it comes to the analog but still functions so I guess I got a pretty durable one. Then again I don't go tossing it all over the place if I get mad or somethin ghaha. uh.. I did break like three or four N64 controllers

I've broken two PS2 controllers. @_@ One I threw and the other I accidentally wore out the analog stick. I think it was on a DBZ Budokai game or something.

i ruined around 2 controllers by playing DBZ budokai with the analog stick being broken. and another controller using my "button mashing technique" which involves putting the controller inside my shirt and wriggling my hands on the controller like hell in the WWE smackdown games.
