Spent most of my money on the actual games, but once there weren't as many ds games that seemed good enough to buy, swtiched over to the r4. ;)

I have a Cyclo Evolution and an EZ Flash V slot 2 expansion cart. The Cyclo is the best, no patching or passcards, I haven't found anything that it won't play. Seamless homebrew support. Supports micro-SD cards. Excellent web support. Flash upgradeable BIOS. I have nothing negative to say about it. Not one thing. It even comes in a cool tin box with a USB Micro-SD flash adapter. Just copy your roms to it like any other disk device on your PC. Well worth the $60.00 investment. The main reason I got it is to write my own Homebrew games. Google "Cyclo Evoloution" and check out thier website.Jimbo

I prefer buying original games, so that the people who spent the time to make them get rewarded, but since money is a decisive factor here, I go with the R4.

I have a flash card and do not buy anymore DS games. But I don't play a lot so it's not a big deal.

I currently bought an R4 to install an .nds file for painting purposes, actually...but made a mistake and ended up with two microDS cards, a 2GB one and an 8GB one...so I'll save myself the trouble of buying the games and just use up my microDS's first.

I used buy NDS games but I'm not going to buy many NDS games since I got a R4 recently. If I like a game very much, I would like to have actual game not a file though.

I use an R4,and in the long run it ends up much cheaper. It's useful and aldo more compactable than having all those little game cartridges.

I have an R4, and I mostly use it to try out games, or play Japanese games. I hate getting games only to realize that they are not what I expect, even if I do return it its just a hassle. I do buy games that I'm a big fan of when I have the money though.

Im currently saving for the AceKard 2i. I wouldn't know what a flashcard is but i learned that the AR doesnt work on the DSi. I searched DSi Action Replay, came up with complaints, kept looking, found the AceKard, looked at what it does, researched other Flashcarts, choose AceKart 2i

I got a Acekard2i. Good card that works with both DSL & DSi. Btw, heard that R4's out of production. Not sure if this is true cos seems that it's still available in markets.

I tend to do both - I bought the pokemon game! 'cuz it's awesome! But, if I'm onlyvaguely interested in the game, I tend to download it onto my r4ds. I love the fact you can put themes on the r4ds though ^^ :gs:

Use flashcart to try. Buy if I like it. If I don't, I simply delete the rom since it just wastes space and I'd probably never play it again.

I'm starting to buy a flash cart to save money. Please post what you do to get games.I would love to hear them because I don't know much people with DS flashcarts.

I buy games made by companies I respect. I usually then download them to avoid carrying cartridges with me after I purchase them.I download (and not buy) games I do not respect, however. these are games I don't mind playing, but I could live without them.
