Unfortunately that will never happen. That would be like Nintendo selling Mario to Sony. Halo is Microsoft's baby and they will never release it for anything that isn't already run by Microsoft. Yes they would make more money in sales and cater to a wider audience, but not only would people playing on a PS3 not be able to play others playing on a 360 online (everyone whos bought it up to now!), Microsoft wouldn't make any money on subscriptions because PS3 is FREE online. So where theres no money...theres no deal.

Halo is some what overrated. I could care less of it is ported to the 360. I already played it on the xbox I don't to play it again on the ps3

It could but it shouldn't because Xbox has a badass controller which has a switch for everything 
and I mean Cmon! look at the PS3 Controller to simple. Which would probably make the game easy or harder but remember Bungie is not going to do this for all of the PS3 Fanboys (Like me). It will probably remain exclusive to the Xbox until it's gone Bankrupt and you guys remember when the Xbox first came out? IT ATTRACTED MILLIONS OF FAN BOYS/GIRLS IN 1 DAY! I think Ps2 attracted lesser and some converted so this is just my opinion. Replies are welcome hehe funny this ain't my topic.

i think its harder for bungie to manage a ps3 as well as the xbox, and the xbox guys have to hve threir special games too

Halo is a good game, especially Halo 2. H2 was the very first M game i ever had and it was amazing....Halo 2 will always have a place in my heart. But yeah, Halo is basically the mascot of Xbox. Would Nintendo let Sony have Mario?....lol No.

I don't even like Halo, but the PS3 is more than strong enough to run any 360 game and if they can put titles like Devil May Cry, GTA and other titles on the 360 then some popular 360 titles should be put on PS3

Well, it has ups and downs. an Up would be the ability to play it on a Console without having to buy the other one(I got a PS3) So I'd love it but, a down would be... just doesn't feel normal playing an American Company Game on a Japanese Company Console, well maybe that's just me.

absolutely bad ideabetter pick a good game to get on the PS3 -_-halo utterly sucks imo. huge ass levels where u cant find anything at allminiture passages, constant searching, mini opponents which u can hardly seeimpossibility to add computer sims for when ur aloneall in all if i was to grade halo i'd give it a 3, only because graphics were goodstick with UT , thats what i'd recommendyeah you hate me now, so what
