Sonic.If Knuckles could win, then why the hell isn't HE the main character?

oooh... are you still willing to say touche ellygeh when you hear about KNUCKLES CHAOTIX on the sega 32X? And I would like to add that knuckles did become a part of the main character after sonic 3 in SONIC AND KNUCLES where you can play as knuckles in the past two sonic games (in sonic one, I remember that you have to do something for knuckles to become available). So yes, he became a main character.And what's this talk about knuckles having strength? There was one thing knuckles can do that sonic couldn't which made sonic and knuckles a very good peripheral as well as a good game is that you, knuckles can GLIDE which made certain areas in past stages only accessible by playing him. Knuckles could even attach to the walls ala megaman x. The only time I could think of knuckles being preferred to his strength is the sonic heroes game where he is the one in the group able to do something that strength based characters can do. Too bad knuckles popularity was reduced when shadow filled the shoes of sonic's rival. But that's life for you when you decide to become friends with the saver of planet mobius than be red demon who will snag all the chaos emerald from sonic.
