I would have to say the Nokia N-Gage. It sucked as a games console and as a phone. The games sucked on it as well.

N-Gage was crap, "It looks like a phone that swallowed a gameboy".Anyway, I think the worst one is the Gamegirl, it's just a gameboy with different things and pink.

NeoGeo Pocket. It tried to be a Sega handheld, but nobody bought it, and for good reason. Personally, I think you just can;t beat the big guys, and there's no reason to try.

Did you mean CDi? I looked it up and it looked like a vcr. I didn't see any screenshots for it but I would expect that it sucks since i've never heard of it.

N-Gage had one redeeming feature that they took out:The Taco hold.See, to use the N-Gage as a phone, you had to turn it sideways and listen to it like it was a Taco, which is cool, in a wierd sorta way.My vote goes to Virtual Boy. Yay for headaches!

Here are some. It's looks pretty good, but nothing all that spectactular:Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImageYou're right. Not that much coverage on it though.Anyway, I think Atari Jaguar was the worst console released. It claimed to be a 64bit system, but looked NOTHING like N64 or anything. The FMV sequences were as grainy as Sega CD and there were so few games and not many too good.EDIT:

Definately the mac. Why? Because there are no games for mac.

Mac really isn't a console nor a handheld. It's just a really crappy computer (not crappy due to hardware and operating system, but due to low compatibility).

i would have to say the jaguar was probably the worst. it was merely posing as a 64 bit system. by the way the neo geo pocket was not crap and had a lot great games. the pocket color was also bad donkey with games like sonic and metal slug.

The worst machine has to be this little yak back wannabe thing, it had a button on it and you push it and the dude screams, and you can change the pitch so it sounds like a girl or a boy, drove me nuts!

I was only able to play Virtual Boy for like 10 minutes before I got a headache. Plus the crappy red and black colours were awful! The system launch with crappy games and it was uncomfortable to use. Nintendo had a good idea but should have gone further with it, or at least waited for teh technology to become more affordable. THe question is, would a newer stereographic (read: 3D) system work? Do you think people would buy it if it had better graphics and was smaller/light enough to wear like glasses?

Heres an interesting little note. While The virtual boy is indeed Crappier than dog crap, It is not worthless. want proof. go on EBAY and look for a virtual boy. 90 dollars for one with a few games, hardly worthless, makes me glad I picked one up at goodwill two months ago. but i need a controller and a couple games now.Nintendo was going to go further with the Idea, the product got rushed and would have costed too much though, it was origionaly going to have red yellow and blue, but like I said, time and money constraints. I think it may have been a little more successfull if they did that thoughNeo geo pocket color was a great handheld, id say better than the advance. one pair of batteries lasted months on that bad boy. and it had great games. I picked myself up one of them last summer again, they had it at electronics boutique with 6 games for 50 dollars. deffinitely worth the money.

I can't really think of a platform that i was truly dissapointed with. Lots of them had different focuses so they didnt do the same things, but i got into nearly all of them. I thought virtual boy was the coolest even though the base to the visor was broken so i had to lay on my back with the thing laying on my face. Teleroboxer ruled.I guess the only machine i didnt enjoy a whole lot was the original gameboy. It wasnt the games, i just couldnt handle the constant greeness and no light on the screen. Once i got a gameboy player for the snes, gameboy got a lot cooler, but i preferred my game gear by far.

Although I've not had a go on many of those hand-helds,Playing a game on my cellphone almost requires an electron scanning microscope to properly view it. Rather play on my new pda any day than the cellphone.
