wow, this is a intresting threadi have thought of this many times.... i think there isnt really anyone who can defeat supermanbatman is superweak just uses a suit, just like iron man.. and spiderman is ever weakerthe hulk is strong, but nowhere near as strong as supermani think we need to look at anime's herethe only one would be yagami light the darn cheater just writes his name down and BOOM ! There are many heroes and villains that can defeat Superman. It just isn't easy. There are a few that are done deals, like written in stone, but the only one I know for sure is Goku. They actually put Goku up against Superman and Goku won by turning Super Sayian.PS: I don't think Batman can be Superman without using a Kryptonite batsuit. Batman sucks too. All anyone needs to do is immobilize Batman and put a bullet through his head.

Dr.Manhattan from Watchmen could definitely do it.He could either alter matter into Kryptonite or something more creative to beat Superman.this what makes superman somewhat uninteresting, you cannot beat him in a fair fight. there must always be a weakness that must be exploited to beat him. i discount doomsday, since i never really liked the death of superman storyline anyway. (the fight between them is overly stupid to boot)

Well someone say superman can be beaten by itachi and his genjutsu ...I totally agree to that in fact any manga Supre hero can beat Superman ...(Actually superman is so modern and not at all Spiritual or magical that any Asian God hero or villain can beat Him ....Even Naruto...

I think there are quite of few people that could defeat superman, but if we only look at the villains i think Doomsday and "the dark one" would be the only 2 that could defeat superman, brainiac would definitely come close but just doesnt make the cut.
