I always liked making weird builds.I made a Fire Sorc before they had spell synergies and fire became wicked powerful. I did it cause I found a +3 fire skills ammy and then I had the sword with +3 fire spells and the gloves with +1 fire spells, so I got a lot of +fire skills points. I think I had +12 without any charms. Everyone took my hydras for granted and paid for it when they let themselves get hit. Once I got synergies between spells it owned.Then I had my poison dagger necro (meleemancer) which was just for fun... it actually did a decent amount of poison dmg with synergies.Martial arts Assassin was wicked fun to play during duels.Zon and paladin were kinda boring to play, though sacrifice paladin with lots of life leech was cool.

Personally there were quite a few builds I favored in patch 1.10 (haven't played since 1.11), of which include:Cold Sorc - given the gear you could kill everyone pretty easilyFire Sorc - spamming fire mets that 1-2 hit everyone is funWhirlWind Assassin - my all-time favorite, looks a lot cooler than Barb and can eliminate every non-melee char

played about a month ago then made sure to smash the cd's i burned.... man did i waste hours on this game. had a FO sorceress for the longest time.

My favorite was the Necro being a Bonemancer. Dealed a ton of damage while you received little from your Bone Walls.

I like diablo 2 very much . I played and i think it is like Heros of the fight and magic . If you play Diablo , you will see it's very interesting . ^^

Either barbarian that dual wields two handed swords and jump attacks. Or an assassin that lays traps and allows the shadow to do all the fighting for me.

Pure pwnage in PvP or Hell Quest (check gamefaqs for description) is the hammerdin, because of fast cast rate, very high damage, and the spinning factor, how it spreads out in a circle. if you meet a hammerdin in PvP with stuff that is + to cast rate, run!

Sorceress and Necromancer. I like spell-casting. The Golems and Curses of the Necromancers are fun and it's always good to see a Sorceress destroying everything in her path with Frozen Orb. And add Warmth to that and you've got a great character.

Online, the Paladin was amazing. He helped everyone with the auras, and a team almost couldn't die because the aura mass protection/damage.Single player I liked the Necromancer. Just summon your minions, let them do the job and if they fail, spam some curses

I thought the Necromancer summon build was called "Lagromancer" b/c of the huge ammounts of lag caused by all 20 of his summons running around.......lolI like Ice-Sorc, Martial Arts Assasin, Shape-Shift Druid, Necromancer with corpse explosion, DragoonLance Barb (leap attack.....really fun build, but have to click a lot [well, more than normal it seems])....thats about it....Wish there will be a Diablo 3 with many more skills and classes.....

well heres the thing... what do you want to do in the game ... do you want max play experience.... you want to go item hunting?? you wanna sit back and not really do anything or do you want to do mass damage from afar? Barbs are the best for item hunting...but can be boring... you just whirl wind everything... Hammerdins i find boring you just stand still or run and cast those gay hammers... Id rather have a pally that is a tank over hammerdinA Nerco that summons is called a zookeeper... basicly you go up in skeleton skills and the ultimate REVIVE! dont bother with golems they cant do anything against bosses. you also want to have curses along with your summons... Bone nercos are also good if you want to stand faraway and just chill and kill all in your path... MANA REGEN NEEDS TO BE HIGH FOR THAT ONE. I perfer to be this style of necro over sorc because in hell creatures resist so much of a sorcs dmg and if your a cold sorc what do you do with creatures immune to cold? Assassin is fun and more challanging build.. martial arts is great for game play because you are so active. Sorc yeah sorc have really nice dmg if you go one field... but this has draw backs as stated above. I perfer fire sorc because they can enchant weapons which is great for friends making new charaters just give them a bow and enchant it and it will do 1000's of dmg for a lvl 1. amazons are blah to me... they are good for cow lvl though... multishot or that spear one that breaks into several. not to entertaining in highlvls i think.druids is a good class... anything you go up in will work out in the end... good for a good game play.

Me I prefer wind druid with perfect stuff does 6.5k nados and 3.5k huricane in duel = pwnage because of huricane slow them and i can teleport right next to him so

Loved it, actually restarted playing after I stopped for a year or two. I really got addicted to this game years ago, would actually come home from school, start pc & fire up Diablo & play until dinner. And after dinner play again untill I could barely keep my eyes open. Which always made me do my home work during the breaks ^^'
