I beat the game with Toad and Baby Mario using Toad's kart. The acceleration helps a lot and their abilities aren't bad either.
Best team in MKDD?

I beat the game (and my friends) with toadette and one of the koopa's in toadette's kart...mostly because toadette is like toad pretty quick (high acceleration)..and the koopa's keep people of my back

flying koopa,jr bowser and red koopa kart. the koopas for throwing lots of shells and the bowser is for weight balance. and im just lucky with the red koopa kart

Toad and ParaTroopa in the Blue Toad Racer is the team I used to beat everything.

no matter what team you pick or kart you should have no troubles as long as you familarise yourself with the courses and also making sure youve got power ups down pat

what chrisix is true but still i wanna say that yoshi and toad in luigi's car is the best team expecially when your last!!(easy items)no matter what team you pick or kart you should have no troubles as long as you familarise yourself with the courses and also making sure youve got power ups down pat

I'd prefer to use Boo/P. Pirahna(they can use any ability in the game) with the second being the character who's power up you would find useful in the leading positions (top four). Car of choice would be the Bowser Car, despite acceleration problems, the car has got speed, and bashing into people will result in no contest, cause your the heaviest one racing. Pair up with a second player to manipulate the double dash at the starting line for extra head start.

I prefer to use Yoshi and Para trooper in Birdo's/gold kart

King Boo and Paratroopa in the silver tubes kart - King Boo for the kart and the various special items, paratroopa for the triple red shells.

It doesn't matter what combination you use, as long as you have balance, good items, and good statistics overall. That said, I enjoy using taod and koopa.

That's Baby Luigi combined with the little monkey in the kart of baby luigi, i beat the game with that team in no timeso chose itCAn anyone help me. I stuck in mirror mode. What is the best two characters and kart? Without Petey Pirhana and King Boo. So can anyone help me?

my team that i always win with is baby mario (front) and baby bowser (back) bbs special is good if ur in first cuz it hits evry1 behind u and bms special is good if ur in last cuz itll pull u to like 2nd ish. put em in the blue baby carriage and theyre good.

I think the best team is, toad and baby mario they are so fu$&% awesome, well not to awesome but they're kind of cool, because of the cart of toad that is the only one that looks like a go kart
