my first gameboy was the Big, Bulky, Gray one! the one that took up a whole pouch in your backpack! where you had to use both hands to play! that was the best! jk but i've gotten every other game boy in succession, except for the micro

Mine was the old gray bulky thing with Killer Instinct and World Cup Soccer. I still play them now and the on my SP today

My first was a Gameboy Color that was a pinkish red (I personally thought it to be more red though most people would disagree and argue that it's pink 
). I got it one Christmas when I was a little kid; it was all the rage back then. I upgraded slowly from there to a cute lavendar colored GBA and now to a coral pink DS. I still love all of my systems equally though and play them all.

the first game boy i owned was a color and the first games i got for it were pokemon silver and pokemon yellow the color cost me 75 dollars

the first Game Boy I ever OWNED was DS but the first time I played it was when the original Brick came out. You could make houses with those things.

I owned what i think was the first generation gameboys, it was black and white and a hige brick, it was grey in colour and that was the only one available...belonged to my uncle and he gave that to me..

I've only ever had two GameBoys...my first was one of the normal ones, you know the HUGE ones that have no colour whatsoever 
My current GameBoy is a Limited Edition Pokemon GameBoy Colour with Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and Togepi... I was going to get a GBA, until I found this site

I had the OLD grey hunk of junk, that took four batteries. But, I got this adapter pack with it, so I can use it anywhere.. Then I had the pocket one, then the color.. and then that was it. Now, all I do is emulation.

for my first handle i got an Atari lynx which i choose over a gameboy. my first gameboy was a gameboy color. then i bought 2 glacier blue advances. 2 retro Nes SP's and 2 DS's and no DS lites. why two of everything you may ask? for 2 player action. duh! why no lites yet? im waiting for the DS micro color super bright.
