My 250 GB Archos 5 with a Quietconfort 3 BOSE in train or plane, pure perfection and impressive music experience with noise cancelling device.http://www.archos.co..._...=fr&lang=frhttp://www.bosefranc...s/qc3/index.jspLighter, a 1GB sony

That's a really nice gear for music. The Archos is well known not only for music quality, but mainly for its video features. I personally wanted on of those also, but settled down for a smaller gear:- Cowon S9 16gb (Practically the nicest sounds produced ever from what I tried. My old Creative Zen X-Fi was really nice and much better sounding than any ipod and other devices, but once I got the Cowon, my X-Fi was nothing)- Sennheiser CX300-II (I personally hate on-ear headsets and much prefer in-ear buds, thus my choice, without overpaying)http://www.cowonamer...ducts/cowon/s9/

I used to have an 8GB iPod nano. But after that died, I bought an 120GB iPod classic. So now instead of having to select which songs I want to put on it all the time, which can be really annoying, I just put everything I have on it, plus some movies. So if I'm ever stuck in a car for a long time without my laptop, I just watch movies on my iPod. But other than that, I only use my iPod between going to classes and at the gym. When I'm at home, I use my laptop to play music.

I've had an iPod since I first started listening to music on something other than CDs XD I love my iPods dearly, and even though they've all gone through various degrees of accidents (being washed in the washing machine, slamming on pavement...) They all work and play music still XD!

First MP3 device was a Rio S35S, but after I upgraded to Windows 7, I finally switched to the dark side and got myself a 32GB iPod Touch (music, videos and games..oh my!).

I own an 8GB Sansa MP3 Player. Pretty good MP3 player, it doesn't have video but I didn't care about that. I have just over 200 songs on it right now, maybe I didn't need 8GB... :channel: It has an FM radio player that works great, I've never had reception problems and it has an auto scan that picks up stations I had no idea existed. It charges with a USB cord, the first MP3 player I had took 1 triple A battery.I made sure my current MP3 player didn't take batteries when I bought it.

When I'm at home, I just listen to it on my laptop. I work from my car, which doesn't have a jack for an external source, so I'm stuck with CDs and radio then. I pretty much don't have a need for an MP3 player (until I get a new car).

I have an MP3/Video player, made by GPX. The battery isn't as strong as I'd like, but it's a good machine.
