I like Rock band because it's fun and there are more instruments so multi is more fun, but its too expensive...

Rock Band is new and has all the capabilities for a rock band, while Guitar Hero uses a great competitive style, great old and new rock songs and battling with the legends of rock. Rock Band and Guitar Hero are great, but I would give Rock Band a 10 and Guitar Hero a 9.5.

I play drums..........so i pretty much had to go with rock band. I still think guitar hero is slightly better. Playing wirelessly has changed my rock n roll life!!!! LO LO Lukana!!!

Guitar Hero all the way! Rockband has a sweet concept, but I doubt they'll get very far with it. I mean, to be able to actually get something out of the game, you'll need to have at least 3 other people that are willing to play with you. And that might be a

Rock Band, duh. It's like Guitar Hero + vocals + drums.Plus, you get to customize your character/band, go ontours, compete/play online. Rock Band is to Playstationwhat Smsh Bros. is to the Wii; the ultimate party game.Plus, you can be playing by yourself on your consolebut with other people all over the world.Hands down, Rock Band.

I like Guitar Hero more, since the guitar is my favorite instrument to play, and Rockband's guitar-part isn't as fun as GH's in my opinion. The drums are also really annoying after awhile since they make such loud noise, and my roommates are always playing it when I'm trying to study. D: DIE DRUMS!

Rock Band is the complete game. Yes, the guitar part isn't too challenging when being compared to anything in Guitar Hero but it still has a great level of difficulty. I see the only reason for buying this game is if you get all the peripherals for it, and have enough friends that are willing to come over and play different instruments. New downloadable content continues to be released, so the game never gets stale if you enjoy the songs that come out. It has a large replay value because of this, which, I understand you have to spend some money to make full use of it, but all the songs have versatility. You may want to sing vocals on a particular song rather than anything else or any other part.

It depends on what instrument you want to play, if you're playing by yourself, and how long you are willing to wait.Right now, I prefer Rock Band (especially the graphics, compared to "Shark Face", of Guitar Hero fame), but come October, Guitar Hero 4 will come put and completely destroy the competition.Have you heard about the sweet new additions? It'll be Rock Band with custom guitars and songs with solo Bass and Drum career modes.
