I'd prefer a short game with great gameplay then a very long game with bad gameplay.

I hate it when I have a game I get that I really like (Like Megaman Battle Network 4 Blue Moon). Then I stay up late and beat half the game or something, then later in about 3 days I beat it. That mostly happens with my x-mas presents.

A few days to a few weeks is better, because it's much more involved, better story, more sidequests, like the Zelda games, although, with my recent gaming time, any Zelda would prolly take 1-2 days. But Final Fantasy isn't too bad either. I'm a big fan of story, but if the gameplay sucks, who cares about the story.A few days to a few weeks is better, because it's much more involved, better story, more sidequests, like the Zelda games, although, with my recent gaming time, any Zelda would prolly take 1-2 days. Its depends in which the game plays, how its showcase it title and gameplay, differcully and controls. In the world is a few short games that makes anny gamer want to play again and again, wishing it was longer than this. But still there are other short games that makes you want a refund.Overall, you should pick which short game might be benifitcally to you, that of pokemon(still long but can be short), sonic(depends on the boards), and that some mario games.

I don't have a very long attention span for games other than Zelda or Fire Emblem simply because I don't like running around having to lvl everyone up. I want plot! That said, if it has a lot of plot mixed into the gameplay, sure, I'll take a long game. Otherwise, I'm sticking to games I can beat over the course of a week or two.

Like the first person said, it depends what mood your in, if your in a good mood, a short game takes some time up for you, but if your angry, then a long game helps you take your mind off your anger XD

Long or short games it doesn't matter....if the story line is interesting along with other things than it is worth playing, although having a games that you finish in a matter of hours would be a waste of your money if you enjoyed your self than it doesn't matter. Long games would be entertaining and challenging depending on what you're playing. :D ^_^

A short game is a good game because it makes you want to keep on playing. But if the game gets to long it gets boring.

i find i dont give myself enough time to sit down and play enough ps2 to complete a game like final fantasy so thats why i like games that would only take a couple of days to complete neways

There are some games that i prefer to be short. The Megaman X series is a perfect example of that. And yet there are games that fully needs your time like Animal Crossing or Oblivion. It's all in the preference i guess.

I like a game that keeps moving and doesn't drag itself out for no real reason.
