Ouedan scared me at first because of the hard tapping, but really, the DS is built quite strong. I fear no longer.

I'm usually pretty light on my screen, but I do hit it kind of hard sometimes when I'm playing TWEWY. Still, I've never been too concerned about it.

When I make circles or similar stuff on the touchscreen, I get afraid that I'll make a scratch or dent, but so far so good.

Pushing too hard on the screen worried me every-single-day for the first month or two that I had my DS. At some point I forgot to worry about it. I hope that I was just being paranoid.Keep your stylus and your screen clean though or you might scratch the touch screen which would suck more than you can fathom after they build up.

lol me o sometimes i even stab the screen :)

Lmao

I used to worry too much on the first couple of months too... now i just avoid those sports games (mario & sonic, new international track and field) cause I just feel like I'm going to burn a hole through the touch screen when I play them, and I guess there's no way around it....

I've seen someone in a GameStop playing a WarioWare Touch demo and he got mad and slammed the stylus with the demo ds into it. It went halfway through! The stylus had a piece of sharp metal poking out so maybe that's why.

Yeah I knew what you mean, when I have to keep the stylus going I think I am pushing to hard.

Always. I have a screen protector on both DS, but I'm constantly worried that I'm pressing the screen too hard. I'm sure there have been points where people have pressed the screen to the point where the colors went weird, or something of the sort.I just hope it doesn't happen to me. *is a little paranoid about this*

is it really necessary to have a protector on the screeN? What are the chances of the screen breaking?

Yes, I do a lot, and it doesn't help when I lose all my stylus's and use my thumb.

Well if your screen breaks, you can always report it to nintendo. If your warranty is up, get a screen protector!

Yes I have definitly had that feeling before! I was playing a game to the same effect. (Crash of the Titans where you had to spin Ninas gun to charge it up) I would be in such a hurry that I would do it and then freak out that I pressed down to hard. I actually scratched my screen doing it!

The DS and DS Lite are really durable. You probably have nothing to worry about.

I had issues in the past with my screen where I ended up putting some pretty bad scratches on it. Hopefully this DS will turn out better I hate having to replace them.

I did not really get that feeling, mainly because I might be fast, but I'm gentle with my strokes, not really hard where it might break.

Yes, actually. I doesn't matter what game it is, as long as it includes the use of the touch screen, I feel as if I'm pressing down or tapping too hard, nine times out of ten. The present condition of the screen, however, reassures me that I have nothing to worry about.

I feel exactly the same!!Everytime I play Ouendan or a RPG game involving the touch screen, it feels like the screen's going to come off. I don't know if it's good or not, but my touch screen is a little bit on the loose side.
