Nope, if anything I'm more worried about the fact I might be moving my stylus to fast across the screen, and somehow damaging it.

I never have to put much force into the touch screen, but since i lost my stylus I've been having to push a bit harder.

You probably are pressing on the screen to hard, I think a lot of people do this.I doubt you're pressing hard enough to cause any permanent damage though. When I played Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword I rubbed right through a small spot on my screen protector! So I know you you feel... :br: You're probably on to something when it comes to screen protectors decreasing sensitivity but I still think it's better to use them.Better to ruin a screen protector then your screen. So I guess the advice I have for you is to keep spare screen protectors on hand, just in case. You should buy like two extra sets, that should last you awhile.

There is no worse enemy. His passion for
death doesn't just border on insanity, it
wallows in it.

My cousin broke his touch screen due to too much pressure applied on it.I've always been gentle with my touch screen,no matter how frustrating or difficult a game could be.Applying force to the touch screen is not a good way of anger management.I would suggest you to bite your DS.

Sometimes when frustrated I poke at the touch screen a bit hard while undergoing some difficult challenges in the games and when realizing it, I had to keep my cool and start to think or strategize this over.

Games that play like Cooking Mama often give me the impression that the touch screen of the DS will break soon due to the tapping and others.

I'm mostly very careful because I'm afraid it'll break; when kids play my DS (yeah well, nephews and nieces and the likes, can't say no because my mum says so -__-") I'll keep reminding them to be more gentle. My heart kinda just skips a beat when I hear the tapping too loud for my liking.

I think I am. Whenever I play speed course in Pokemon Soul Silver, I do it too much, too fast. But at least I have a protector.

There's a plastic protector on my screen but it looks scratched now because of the stylus! I hope I'm not hitting too hard.

When I'm playing The World Ends With You, it's like I'm doing the stylus version of button mashing....And I'm also button mashing. : ) Fun game though.I've stopped playing because I've thoroughly destroyed a protector, so I'm getting another one before I play again. I figure the top screen and the bottom are about the same size, and I won't touch the top, so I'll keep both for the bottom.

i hope the screens are stronger enough to last through the hardship of being constantly pounded and the screen cover does lower the sensitivity of the touch screen which is a pain :/

I feel like the touch screen is going to break when I play Ninja Gaiden. I literally just keep mashing buttons and the touch screen.

Yeah I know what you guys mean, I feel irritated that my screen protector seems to cause some loss of sensitivity for the touch screen but yet I know my screen will probably have gg'ed a long time ago if not for the protector.Which is why I stick to games that don't require furiously poking the screen... :gs:

One time, I thought I smashed my screen, but a cobweb was reflected off the screen. :)I have yet to actually experience pressing the screen too hard, however.

If you're heavy handed (or in this case, fingered) it might be a good idea to lighten up.

mayne.... i totally worry that i'm hitting my ds touch screen too hard when i play pokemon ranger. well specifically, i feel like i'm putting too much pressure on the screen. anyone who's played that game knows what i'm talking bout. those big pokemon get really annoying to capture, and the strain i put on the screen when i'm capturing em is giving me stress haha
