^ I second the Pokemon Ranger one. Any other game, I'm fine and I gently tap the screen, but with Pokemon Ranger, I just get so into it, before I know it, I'm putting mega pressure on the screen. I've gone through two screen protectors so far, and hoping for this one to last a bit longer before using another one.

Yeah all the time, espeically when I flip off my DS and I can see all the lines I made because I was trying to figure something out. Glad I had screen protectors!

Yeah, I get the feeling to, especially when I'm playing something multiplayer with my friends or simply being near them while we're both playing. When I tap the screen, I feel I'm applying way more force than I need to.

It's the same for me.I was playing Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword the other day, and since the whole game consists of using the stylus in so many different combinations, I... confess that my touch screen was brutally abused for about an hour, before I stopped myself from continuing the mad assault. The horrors of not having screen protection.

Haha yeah I've had this happen too, I dont think it would break so easily though. My top screen got crushed so I use my touchscreen for a lot more things now.

I've got screen protectors on, except either they scratch really easily or my stylus tip has been "sharpened" from usage so theres a LOT of scratches on my screen. I should probably get new protectors but I suck at installing them (I got so many bubbles)!

Oh yes totally!Whenever I play "The world ends with you." I tap my stylus almost trough the screen :laugh:Maybe I should consider investing in a couple of screen-protectors.

Yeah, I find my finger sometimes works better on the touch screen for certain games (like M&L3: Bowser's Inside Story), but in frantic scenes and whatnot, sometimes I don't realize how hard I'm pushing down on it or scraping my fingernail against the screen. If it DOES decide to break on me...well, the 3DS is coming out just in time <3

My DS has screen protectors, but even then I avoid games that require heavy use of the screen. Star Fox Command was enough for me, and that game is nothing compared to others like Elite Beat Agents or any one of those games that are mostly stylus-based.

I think if my DSi could speak..it would say " AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMGG WHY ARE YOUU STABBING ME WITH THAT STYLUS????" So yeah I'm pretty sure I think I'm a bit abusive on my touch screen sometimes :haha:

Well if you hit too hard, you can just get another. DS's aren't that expensive anymore especially when the new 3D version will come out. even though you can only play for 30 minutes so it won't explode and give you cancer

Yes that happens to me whenever I get sucked into the game and without even noticing I see myself poking the touch screen so hard that I can hear tapping sounds.

Lol, yes! I always manage to poke my DS too hard, and I fear I might break it soon >.>I think it's just that the games are too awesome that you want to win, making you super excited and making you poke the screen too hard

Yeah, I get that feeling =/ My protector, when I had one, never seemed to effect it >.< But I get caught up and attack my screen sometimes =/ I've heard of people, and seen pictures of them, putting their stylus through the screen =/ Sometimes I get paranoid about doing this too Hahaha
