I use the official Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, wired version. I'm pretty happy with it, especially because newer PC games automatically map controls for this gamepad, and even the hints during gameplay change, displaying stuff like 'press "A"', or "RT" instead of mouse/keyboard hints or game controller hints in the 'press "button 1"', or "button 6" style. But I'm not playing strategy or shooter games with the gamepad, with the exception of shooters that have vehicles to drive, in such games I switch between mouse/keyboard while on foot, and gamepad while in some kind of vehicle. For me, there's no other gamepad for PC now, of those officially supported, anyway (because I used to play PC and emulator games on a PS2 gamepad connected with a SmartJoy PS2 to USB adapter, and I also plan to eventually buy a PS3 gamepad and try to make it work on my PC using some fan software for that).
What kind of PC game controller do you have?

Mostly I use my mouse and keyboard, but I did have a controller that connected to USB for a while. It really sucked. So I got rid of it and here I am stuck using the mouse and keyboard for games like Mega Man X and the like.

I just use my PS3 controller. It's confusing cause it displays xbox controller on screen.

This makes me laugh at myself. Of course, I use mouse and keybord. Classic me (laugh).

I normally use my mouse and keyboard but for any driving games, I owe a Logitech G27 for those games
