Illegal? It is illegal, unless you buy it from, like, Itunes or something.

downloading songs illegally? i don't see anything illegal in using bearshare, imesh, limewire, etc... it's called sharing. it's where you share your mp3 files, video files, documents, etc. thru peers! i don't know, but this is just my opinion.

Downloading - without paying - is already illegal (unless of course, if the artist wants their fans to download). The problem is that no one really cares, so we still do it. Plus, it's free - no one likes to "waste" their own money.

Wow... if downloading songs are illegal then downloading games should be illegal as well right? So we should just all agree that downloading songs are legal or should be legal.

I think downloading music should be legal. It's no different than recording a song off the radio, onto a Cassette Tape.

Although in the case of recording from the radio, you might not be able to get the full song.Downloading music has enabled me to learn about my current favorite band. I can't go against it, I'm afraid.

No WAY!! They say that people not buying cd's ruins the sales and doesn't reel in enogugh $$ but look at them THEIR FILTHY RICH!!! And it saves us like what about 500$ a year at the least. I think that the artist shou8ld look at the world more closely and see how much people save by dling music offliune and not haveing to buy like $15 cd's... Post youre opinion

We kids need music to live

It should be illeagal if you do it all the time because when you download music you are not supporting the artist and what they have worked so hard to make.It should be illeagal if you do it all the time because when you download music you are not supporting the artist and what they have worked so hard to make.

It's illegal in America...I don't think its illegal outside of America but I'm probably wrong haha. But I don't think it should be illegal because people will do it anyway and people usually support the artist in other forms than just purely through their music.
