Rockband i think is going to be one of those games that redefines the industry, As both a hardcore fps and rpg gamer, it is always refreshing to relax with the boys and plug in a little guitar hero, not to mention the help it has on hand eye coordination, So for a game like rockband to expand that genre into a multi instrument band, will just boost and a budding genre.

dude they're so totally different you can't really say which is better. I think Rock Band is just going to further redefine the video game industry like guitar has done.Halo 3 IS way Better!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's my opion so if you don't like it to bad

I play it always whenever we go to Walmart. Its pretty cool. Too bad I dont have a PS3 or I would have gotten it.

Rockband owns...Halo 3 sucks...horribly. They took out SWAT...the only setup that was worth playing because it was more realistic.

Its too bad the guitar sucks balls and the package is expnsive.The guitar doesn't click when you strum and its painful to know if you actually hit the notes... Gay.

Rock band has pros and cons like any other game. Multiplayer and solo are fun...even if you are stuck singing. Comparing Halo 3 to Rockband is just stupid.

It's way better than Guitar Hero. It doesn't even compare. It's just a great game to play with a group of people.

ive played both and yeah for fun and having a good time with friends i would go for Rckband for solo rockband is just good for drumming 
guitar hero is more polished and has a better level of difficulty on songs and they are more elaborated 
, also rock band guitar is almost perfect if it wasnt for the strumming it is kinda sloppy i got used to GH series guitar but overall Best Music Game
