In games like Dragonball Z, combos are limited due to the pause between five hits. It's hard to get the high combos you guys have.

My longest combo in a game would have to be in Naruto: ultimate ninja 2. i was using shino, the battle just started, and i used my level 3 ougi, and when it was done, i got a 27 hit combo on him, which is hard to do in that game.

I got about 150-200 or so in MvC2 using megaman on training mode and a couple of Ironmans. All I did was hold the Y button for about 3 min (after using leaf shield) and then I released it for a 50 hit combo + pounding him using leaf shield and a bunch of light attacks and lastly followed by a triple super. If that isnt enough, I got an inf combo on naruto gekitou ninja taisen 4 using OTK (one tailed kyuubi). All i did was ->A, Y, ->A, Y, ->A, Y, etc <_<

When I first read the name of this topic, I was thinking that it would be about actual input strings and not just hit counts. I say this because some moves have a large amount of hits for absolutely no input skill (or in MvC's case, mashing the hell out of your buttons). Moves like Justice's Gamma Ray in Guilty Gear (60 hits by itself and all you have to do is a measly 46463214HS) hardly count as a combo by my definition, but someone could still misleadingly say that they got "60 hits off." Heck, I'd even count stupid things like A-groove CCs as "combos." Even though they require almost no skill, at least they still require seperate inputs and sometimes timing, albeit it's usually just any move 20 times into a super. In other words, simply giving a hit count is not impressive in the slightest. The longest actual untechable combo input string that I can pull off is in Guilty Gear XX Accent Core with Anji (who happens to be lowest tier -_-).From midscreen 5K > cS > 5H > 3S whiff cancel into cS > 5H > [236H D] repeat up to 2x until they're in the corner > 236H wallbounce and wait for recovery > 5K > cS > fS super jump install cancel > jS > jP > jS > jP > jS > jump cancel > jS > jP > jS > jD > 214P roman cancel and land > 263H > super jump > jS > jP > jS > jH > land > 5K > cS > fS super jump cancel > jS > jP > jS > jH > jD. Here they can tech for about 6 frames but if they don't, you can airdash after the last jD into jK > jS > land > cS > fS super jump install cancel > jS > jP > jS > jP > jS > jump cancel > jS > jP > jS > jD > 214P.As for hit counts, there are some untechable infinites in earlier versions of Melty Blood and Guilty Gear, so technically speaking, my highest is really as high as you want it to be. If you factor in proration, most Melty Blood characters would take anywhere from 500-1000 or so hits to die from an infinite after it prorates to 1 damage. Guilty Gear characters take about 480 or so hits depending on the setup.

My longest would be in Marvel VS Capcom.I used Wolverine and then I tried the Corner jump slash that may even lead to combo 99.After practicing it for a few times, I did it. It took me a day and a half.

Well Marvel Vs Capcom 2 using Ryu, Cable and Iron Man I hit a 230 (give or take 10) combo on the final boss, but that was cheap because the guy took up half the screen. In an actual one on one match in Killer Instinct I hit a 63 hit combo with Jago.
