He could have put anything in, in respect to the weight of the barrel without the wine, as it has not been specified clearly that the barrel is actually full, merely that, if it were to be full, it would weigh 100 pounds.scoreboard:jamzemu - 23Eärendil - 3Finalage - 6klsw - 7Zero v2.0 - 3Auzzie Wingman - 2Alphaclaw11 - 42bigpigs - 3riddle:A man takes a wine barrel that weighs 100 pounds with the wine, and then puts something in it. They're wearing a green suit, a red suit and a blue suit. You didn't specifically ask what colour each person was wearing separately, merely what colours they wore as a group.scoreboard:jamzemu - 23Eärendil - 3Finalage - 6klsw - 10Zero v2.0 - 3Auzzie Wingman - 2Alphaclaw11 - 42bigpigs - 3riddle:At a local bar, three friends, Mr. Green, Mr. Red and Mr. Blue, were having a drink. One man was wearing a red suit; one a green suit; and the other a blue suit. "Have you noticed," said the man the blue suit, "that although our suits have colors corresponding to our names, not one of us is wearing a suit that matches our own names?" Mr. Red looked at the other two and said, "You're absolutely correct."What color suit is each man wearing?worth 5 pts

It's taken me an EXTREMELY long time to figure this out but I think there is an exact combination. This is probably the hardest riddle I've come across but that's probably why it's worth 5 points. Anyway I don't know if I can explain this properly but I'll try my best. DEEP BREATH... Here I go:One thing is for sure. Each man is not wearing a suit with a colour that matches their name. One person in the blue suit mentions this and Mr. Red who is a different person confirms this. This obviously means that Mr. Red is not wearing the blue suit. This means either Mr Green or Mr Blue is wearing the blue suit. However, we know that the colour of their suit does not match their name. Hence, Mr Blue can not be wearing the blue suit, it must be Mr. Green. So this now leaves Mr Red and Mr Blue with a green and red suit left over. Again, since we know that the colour of their suit does not match their name, we know that the red suit can not go with Mr Red but must go with Mr Blue. And that leaves Mr Red having a green suit. So to summarise:Mr Red - Green SuitMr Blue - Red SuitMr Green - Blue SuitThere's nothing in the riddle I can see that can define the exact combination of how they where the suits

This is where you have to be careful. It's NOT Mr. Blue who is viewing, it's a man in a blue suit. Therefore, it's certainly not going to be Mr. Blue because we know that the colour of the suit does not match with the name. It also can't be Mr Red because later we see that Mr Red is responding to what the man in the blue suit said. So that means he is not wearing the blue suit which leaves only Mr. Green to be wearing the blue suit. And then after that, it's just logic which I explained in my previous post (if it was clear enough to understand.)The trick to solving this riddle, is that you need to understand that the man in the blue suit which first makes that statement is NOT Mr. Blue. Then, the person who confirms this is Mr. Red, not a man in a red suit.Once you get that into place, the rest is logic. The hard part is in identifying the above 2 things. The rest is easy(I think maybe this should explain it a bit better.)1st I take it when Mr Blue is viewing. So I get only the combination i mentioneed above.Tried the same with the others and its the same.
