You're close to the real answer, but your reasoning is wrong. Soil does contain water. It would be a very bad and infertile soil if it didn't contain any water.Skulblaka, I'm not sure if your answer is accurate, but the reasoning behind it is correct and you're probably not that far off anyway. Water does cover approximately two-thirds of the Earth's surface, but as a percentage of the total planet's mass, it is negligible, certainly less than 1%.Skulblaka is correct.

Then I'll post one...sorry if its been posted before, but I hope not.Think of words that end in -gry. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? That word is constantly being used, and you will hear it if you listen carefully.

Adamjaxe is correct...ya it was a bit lame, but I couldn't think of anything else. Here's another one...and this riddle is a true story.A rich man's son was kidnapped, and a ransom note was sent to him demanding that he bring a valuable diamond to a telephone booth in the middle of a park. When he went to deliver the diamond at the park, many policemen disguised in civilian clothes surrounded the park, to follow the kidnapper or his messenger once they got the diamond so they could secure the release of the man's son. However, the kidnapper managed to obtain the diamond without the police being able to give pursuit. What did he do?

Sorry for the lateness, but I'll give the answer to my own riddle since no one's got it. When the man got to the telephone both, he found a homing pigeon in a cage. The note instructed him to put the diamond in a bag around the pigeon's foot, and then open the cage. When the cage opened, the homing pigeon flew back to the kidnapper with the diamond. The police were unable to track the pigeon because it was biological and left no kind of identifiable trace that could be followed.

Okay, I'll toss in a few that most people have never seen before. Have fun!1) It can be seen in water, But it is never wet.2) What grows more frightful the smaller it becomes?3) I fall, but cannot be dropped I break, but not when I land The greater I am, the less you see I dwell in hearts, but not in an open handWith these riddles, you'll probably feel really smart if you figure it out. If you don't, and are stunned by the simplicity of the answer(s), make sure there is a soft surface nearby, in case you suffer a nervous breakdown. If you feel that my sarcastic sense of humor (as expressed in this paragraph) is downright awful, please don't tell me.More riddles later
