Which sidekick is better?

Tails Hes a genious engineer.. that i remember ( makes machines and flying machines and whatnot ) and he can fly himself to tough areas if sonic wasnt around Tails could definatly have a game I would totally support it

tails would be a better sidecick de to his ability to fly and invent stuff as well, where as luigi is simply another mario with different colored clothing

Isn't this just a rewording (ALMOST verbatim) of my post just before it? I mean, I guess there's nothing wrong with that, it just seems kind of strange

first off, let's do a bit of a comparison here:1. evil nemesis/cloneLuigi has Waluigi, although I'm not even sure what he's all about and he isn't in any game except as a random filler character definitely exists. tails, on the other hand, is too low profile to even be noticed by the bad guys. as was mentioned, previously, all he does is follow youLUIGI: 1 TAILS: 02. Role in gamesIn these games, let's take a look. First, our furry friend Tails. Tails serves several useful purposes. What purposes, you might ask? well, our many-tailed friend is great for the psychology of the player. how, you say? when you are trying repeatedly to get over a wall or obstacle, tails is sitting behind you. watching. waiting. all the frustration of this obstacle, added to the fact that the little prick, while being able to fly, and being able to carry you, but chooses to sit on his plethoric ass AND LET YOU KEEP JUMPING AT IT. you can take all of that, and huse that hot little ball of fury and use it against the level's boss. Ok, reality check. the little is entirely useless.Luigi, however, is quite useful. Overlooking the fact that he has his own game, and is a playable charcter in many games, let's take a look at the games where he's WITH Mario. He helps by hitting boxes Mario can't, helping to fight enemies, useful comic relief, and a translator for mario's unintelligible gibberish in the Paper Mario games.in a recap: Luigi, kicks ass, helps out, strikes out on his own. Tails? I THINK NOTLUIGI: 2 TAILS: 03. overall coolness factor (O.C.F.)In measuring this, let's just take a look. Luigi: Cool clothes, nice 'stache, kicks ass. Tails: expansive ass, too close to being a cutesy little carebear for my liking.LUIGI: 3 TAILS: 0let's leave it at luigi's hat trick, shall we?I rest my case.

Tails > Luigi. By far. Sure, he has an annoying voice, but he doesn't have the silly accent.That and he really is a sidekick, unlike Luigi (who only exists because you need a second character for player 2). Luigi isn't even a proper character, he's just Mario with a palette shift. Pathetic!
