I still think it could have been better with the fifth button, and more songs.

My final opinion of GH is as fallows:I've played the xBox and the PS2 and On tour for the DS. Compared to the big names OT is lacking but for being on the DS it's pretty good. The fifth button on the big ones added more of a challenge but really frustration at the same time (Move one finger off and forget your fingers). The DS version is nice overall and the graphics are decent. I always play as Gunner as he is the one closest to my style of rocker and they got rid of the bass player and smashed him together with the singer. Because it's the DS and a little bit less powerful than the 360 or PS2 the actions the players take are very repetitive and depends on how many notes/sec. Also unlike the bigger names tif you look during some off time during battle you notice that your character and the challenging character make the same movements at the same time. makes sense since the DS isn't as powerful. I would make a Brittany Spears joke here about the female singer but I'll let someone else run with it for now. Overall the DS version is nice on a long road trip but don't play to long or your wrist may sound like popcorn when you stretch it (mine does). I give it a 3.5 out of 5. Good play but nothing really new. Good music though. This has been a official TUNA game review.

That is a lot better than pancakes review ^^. I agree, as you state it's not as good as the full console versions ... but this a DS and as such there is a lot on the cartridge. If someone is expecting full-console quality/quantity on a DS then they are being unrealistic and are going to be disappointed.

For my part, Guitar Hero is overrated. I mean why should you play it and not practise on a real guitar. And on DS, this game is soooo complicated!

The game is not the same as a real guitar. You use the touch screen to strum and there are only four buttons. To top that off, there are 25 songs. Unless you're a rocker :sniper: then I wouldn't get it. It's $50!

I have it, it's a good game, but there is not really much to dok after you beat the story and the guitar battle thing. i think guitar battles is more fun than playing more songs just by yourself

First of all and before giving opinions I think anyone would have to say if they own it or not (this way we can rate better his/her opinion). I own it and I like it. The only problem it has (and a major one I think) is that after playing some songs your hand aches. The new added device is not as comfortable as it should. And also the belt that ties in you hand is not enough to fix the position. Perhaps with a side edge that prevents it from sliding down would be better.Anyway I am a happy owner ;)

The game is just not the same without 5 buttons. It's like playing Medium. The game was meant for people to be on the move and still having fun. Pretty annoying trying to play while having your hand hurt after only one song.

*is a guitar hero freak*I think this is a game more dedicated to the guitar hero freaks, as the controls are finicky and the song selection is very limited, but a portable GH is always welcome.

it really needs a better song list. there not many songs at all and the song list is a big part to making a music game what it is
