Halo 3, Gears, or Assasion Creed?

My two picks are COD 4 and Assassins Creed. COD 4 because its a great shooter and pretty good storyline and its a change from the first 3 which were all set in WWII whilethis one is set in modern times as the title implies and because I've never been a big fan of the Halo series myself, Assassins Creed has a great storyline though the small downsideis it can get repetitive after a while and some of the achievements are jus not worth the time for unlocking them but there both good buys

I would have to go with Halo 3. The games are all pretty good but Halo 3 has a huge online community. You'll always get a match.

i dont like to compare a game to another game outside of its own franchise( I dont like to compare gears to halo, or zelda to mario, or final fantasy to any other rpg) because they arent the same game and attract different people, but i can tell you their upps and downs without saying things like " get halo3 because its halo" because that isnt a reason. GEARS OF WAR ups-fun 3rd person shooter, which is a change of pace. very nice cover system. gore and violence, hence the mature rating. very fun/addictive online multiplayer. GEARS OF WAR downs- short campaign, fun but its a less than one day affair(do not get GOW if you dont have xboxlive). laggy rooms often, no game actually has its own server(not even halo3) but they do connect to hosts differently( reason why halo3 and COD4 run so well over xboxlive) but it is fun. Online players are usually A-holes( self included sometimes) you are more likely to be called the n-word, or a 
for absolutely no reason and the players are more than competitive, to the point where if you dont win its because you suck and they are gods(by the way they make it sound). Host has no lag, and it usually shows because they can kill you like you are nothing, takes no skill sometimes( most skilled players do not host for that very reason). glitchers, its annoying when someone glitches in a ranked match becaus they cant be kicked. game doesnt play as it was meant(most may want to play GOW2 instead of one, if you are interested in its gameplay style), meant to be played as a team, cover fire from sub-machine gun, flanking positions, battle over power weapons, stuff like that-it mostly plays as shotgun battles, get used to firing a shotty it will most likely be your best friend in multiplayer.HALO3 ups- very good hosting options, party options, create your own maps and game modes, somewhat custom character design( can change colors and armors-but only two types of races Spartan or Elite) when i played it had good competition and well mannered players( i never got called a or the n-word-well maybe once) every game ended with the losers and winners saying something like "good game" it was very refreshing after playing Gears for so long. fairly challenging and lengthy campaign plus up to 4 ppl could play the campaign at once, which is just awesome. Halo has always had a fairly interesting storyline. ranking system that pits you against other players of the same skill level.HALO3 downs- somewhat random game modes appear. may be called a Noob for no reason( shows the type who play halo compared to the type that play Gears). may get a laggy game but that is kinda doubtful. Other than that it pretty runs like your average FPS, just you can jump really high in this game and that appears to be where the most kills come from, shoot jump and shoot and jump to avoid being shot. i personally like gears, but halo3 is decent , its all up to your gameplay preferences. AC ups- fairly good storyline. pretty fun to assassinate people. can essentially climb anything shadow of the colossus style. different type of control layout, but easy to learn, it works, easy to master.AC downs- no real plot twists. easy to assassinate people. Dumb AI, you walk with priests who are all wearing white clothes, but you have a missing finger a sword a dagger and knives all over your body, but the enemy never notices its you, plus if you walk with your hands held together as if praying you become less suspicious despite previously mentioned appearance. there are like three animations for assassinations, but you will probably see the one where he pounces on people more often than the other ones even if you are standing still next to someone who is also standing still, you will still pounce on the guy next to you. assassins creed isnt a shooter like gears of war or halo so it shouldnt be there

Assassin creed because of it originality and better game play, halo 3 is just a better remake of it older version and gears of wars is just a shooter like other but they are still very good

It dependsHalo 3 its overrated... so what its still fun to kill specialy onlineCall of duty 4 its good but all the maps are the same 
and it gets boring online cuz of all the exploding noobzassassin's creed has a good story its fun to kill and its not short like most of the games... but it gets kind of boring to kill always in the same way

I play Assassins Creed at my mates house all the time, not a fan of Halo 3, just didn't live up to it's name to be honest.

I love COD 4 more then any of them, but if not, id choose assains creed, I could play that all night

Get Call of Duty 4. It's best for live and has a great story line. Halo 3 is okay but the story is very boring and repetative. Gears of War, I got bored after the first half of the first level. I havn't tried the other one.

Gears of War is an overall great game...however, i do not have many single player games, and i would personally go for Assassins Creed. Graphics are great, and gameplay is insane.

Creed's story may be good but i did not enjoy the gameplay wich was nothing actually i belive is way more fun any spiderman sand box games My vote goes for GoW not a Halo fan but i enjoy it more with GoW

i see assassins creed of being more targeted torwards those who like stealth games, halo is more of a cartoony shooter and gears is more of the upfront duck and cover shoot. i say gears. you cant chainsaw many ppl and then start shootin other guys in many games.
