I do my best to resell them to other gamers (though I make sure to tell prospective buyers how much I dislike the game, and what I think of its quality to make sure they have only themselves to blame for purchasing it), if that fails, I wait until I have enough bad games in my collection to sell them all at once to a used-game store.

I just leave them alone for years on end, or simply give it away to somebody who wil actually appreciate it instead of throwing it in the garbage, selling it back or any of the other methods that you may suggest. Mostly it is the giveaway method, as me and my family do not believe in letting things go to waste, besides i'm more into being a nice guy than a person who would waste things...

If you are in the mood for a cheap laugh, just stick a few (or a lot :P) firecrackers on it and enjoy the show. Or use it for target practice :machinegun:

You sell them, although its hard to get a (good) deal with them at all. Find out if you hate a game quickly and sell it not too long after it was first released to get the most money for it. Otherwise wait a month before buying a game and look at reviews, videos and screenshots to see if its worth buying.

Mine just end up gathering dust somewhere. Luckily though I don't tend to buy many dud games as I meticulously research them before I buy them.
