Smart move, I wouldn't sell mine either. Mine has been boxed up for a while though, but recently I dug it out to test it and everything still works fine! I had to source a new PSU though but that wasn't difficult. Retro on!! XD And to keep on topic, I still play on my Nintendo 64 and Super Famicom (Jap SNES) regularly.

I wish I still had my old consoles. The only reason I got a new one was because I broke my old one. Well, my dad actually broke it because he was pissed, but that's a different story. I play the emulators religiously though.

I still play a lot of old consoles, it's more about the game play for me. Shinning forces 1 for the Sega Gneiss is amazing, (tactical combat game). Dragon Warrior 1 for the originality of the RPG concept. Plus on smaller games it's nice to be able to make progress without spending six / seven hours playing. So yeah old school all the way. NES, Gen. Also I love the old Turbo graphic 16 machines, they still make an emulator. I used to have one and now really like playing all my old games. Military madness was also an amazing game that I beat after many many tries.
