for real time you actually get into the combat, so in a way i like it better

Both of got pros and cons because it depending on the player feel for the game. Personal I think Real Time was going to be hassel to me however it was a matter of time that I was quickly pick up the skills and tech point. I Really enjoy it because you can control the character u want and other character u set up for their AI. FOr Turn base time playing. It is nice but I really do not have any patient at all. It make me be more annoying and wanna break controller.Go for Real TIme

I would have to say it depends. I like turn based because Final Fantasy X is probably one of my favorite RPGs but Kingdom Hearts was fun and I enjoyed the real time system. So like earlier posts have said it all depends on the game.

I didn't care about final fantasy 12 but kingdom heart 2 game play was good but the story was badwith the aproach of both Kingdom hearts 2 and final fantasy 12, i was just wondering which style of RPG you like..... i like them both, but i think i like real time better

Real-Time games often spoil the RPG feeling of a game, while Turn-Based system is getting a tiresome with many of new games that don't bring changes to the system. I would like to see a Turn-Based game (That, answering to the question, this is my favorite system) with a touch of interactivity in the battle, something like the system used in FFVI, but updated to the new generation of consoles and games, that would be a great improvement IMO.

real time games are good when you dont want to wait or if the game has really good storyline or really cool bosses (kingdom hearts, tales). They can however ruin the whole role playing-ness of rpgs. Turn based games are good for people who love the real authenticity of rpg and can be really fun if they have a great storyline(final fantasy) but can be really boring when leveling up for bosses or when you have to go through kind of pointless exercises to get to a boss who is really easy. BUT I still love all rpgs so =D both are good

They are both different style but Kingdom hearts is more faster then FF12 so therefore i got for KH.

I like both of them, but it seems I usually have more fun with real time as opposed to turn based.
