When looking for Xbox games i have a tendancy to go for scary games as my peak time for playing is in the early hours of the morning. I own both Bioshock and Prey and I think that Bioshock is a really good horror game combining both suspense and psychological thrill while Prey just seems to have the classic jump out zombie moment.
What is scarier Bioshock or Prey

hm, I never thought of Bioshock as being a horror game.I'd think PREY would be a better horror game.Now that I know, It's weird that Bioshock is a horror game...

I dont get scared easily so bioshock never really messes with me but prey makes me jump every once in awhile so its prey for me.

Bioshock is definitely a scarier game. Prey might have it's moments but Bioshock can scare you even during a regular fight with a common enemy. Not to mention when you get caught from behind by a hidden enemy.

prey was fun and a tad scary but personally i think bioshock was much better. Fighting a big daddy on low ammo with ten other bad guys can lead to several heart attack and possible blood vessel burts.

I haven't played Bioshock yet but I'm betting it is much scarier than Prey.

I didn't find prey scary- i found bioshock jumpy but that's different from scary. Prey had one good idea - the portals and gravity changes, but Portal just came out and it's brilliant.

prey is more jumping scaryness yet i think bioshock is scarier because its storyline gives it a better atmosphere and chill throughout as opposed to just sudden RAAR.. ^^

Bioshock, although neither of them were really that scary but I didn't play Prey too much, for some reason it didn't appeal that much to me.

i thought the effects in prey with the little girls were way scarier than the random little sisters in bioshock. sometimes though in bioshock their are really intense battles. But after a while you kinda knew when the guys would pop out

prey reminded of quake 4 so it didnt really do anything to scare me. but when i fought that first big daddy and he comes charging all i can think is "holy crap holy crap $%&$%$%%$$%" it was that damn scary

I didnt think prey was scary at all. Bioshock is much more atmospherical, and it made me jump a few times, but all in all it wasnt all that scary either

Bioshock. It's very creepy when you are alone and it's 02.30. And even creepier when the neighbor was awake...

I think Bioshock had better surprise moments than Prey. Though after playing FEAR, I haven't even flinched at the games.

Bioshock all the way, if you didn't have the lights on and the lightness in the game was set on low, just hearing the spider splicers crawling around the ceilings, and when they jump out at you it scares the crap out of me, so i would say Bioshock is definitely more scarier then prey

bioshock was scarier. it did a great job using the atmosphere to make it creepy. and that music was awesome
