I reckon Gamecubes controller is too complicated. PS2 is more simple & light.

I don't know. I think the placement of the two analog sticks on the gamecube controller is great. It's really just like the analog sticks on the original X-BOX controller ( which I hear most people say that they really like), but it fits in your hand better. I think that the only real problem with the Gamecube controller is that darn z-button. It's just so small!!!!! :( lol As far as comparing it to the PS2 controller, the PS2 controller is fine, but most people don't like the two analog sticks side by side. It's a pretty simple controller. Buttons in all good places. Good to play Brawl with.

I'd say that the GameCube controller is one of my favorite controllers, very comfortable and very well designed. My only gripe with it is that it isn't able to take as much punishment as the older controllers. which is important for me because I really abuse mine. I gotta say though that the NES controller, though perhaps not quite ideal, it was a tank and worked perfectly for the games of the time.

The GC controller is a bit complicated, especially with the odd placement of only one bumper button (Z). However, I find it to be more comfortable than the xbox controllers and ps(anything) controllers.

I have only played on XBox and PlayStation (any of them) rarely, and it takes me less than a few minutes to figure out the button configurations. They aren't hard, but they're also not easy. On the other hand, the first time I picked up a GameCube controller I just glanced at the buttons, then the screen, and I was like, "Okay, this is easy." Personally, I don't really see what the whole deal is with this. All the controllers seem easy enough to use, I guess it just comes down to comfort and personal preference. (Although I guess comfort is also a matter of personal preference, so it comes down to just personal preference. Hehe.)

I'd have to say I like the Gamecube's controller layout the best. It's not big, and the grip is fitting. I can see how it can be annoying for people with huge or tiny hands, but I hate the original xbox controllers and the ps2 controllers. the xbox controllers are just too darn bulky, and the ps2 has too many buttons, and its hard to tell which button is which.

The game cube controllers are much more compact than something like the Xbox but i must say the duribility of the gamecube controller is much more flimsy. i have way too much trouble with the joysticks getting stuck and getting lose over a year or so

Depends on what you're more used to, if its PS2 then its that, if its GameCube then its...Gamecube? :)I'd say what you grew up on is easier, so natrually PS2. (They kept their original design.)

it's kind of overwhelming at first, especially the x and y buttons but you get used to it eventually. i love the l and r buttons though, they fit almost perfectly. :)

The controller is pretty big, but it fits my hands really well and I like the button placement a lot.The xbox controllers are the hardest for me.

i quite like the gamecube controllers, because you have more buttons so theres less/shorter combinations. like on ps2 you get things like hold r2 and press o x. as apposed to just like, press z or press L and wiggle the c stick.

You're kidding right? Having had to get used to every controller ever made, I'd say that out of all the ones since the snes, the gamecube was the easiest. The joysticks on the ps2 were slightly awkward and the xbox was so bulky and the 360 controller isn't much better. The Ps3 is the same as ps2 and the wii is just weird. Awesome but weird.

I've found that GC controllers are the best in terms of comfort and usability. Sure, when you first look at it, you think Picasso designed the controller, but after just a few plays with it, I finally began to see how it all fit together so perfectly. Everything is in reach and all the buttons are used. I also like how the more important buttons are bigger and how the B button is placed. It's very easy to find when you're in the heat of battle. Great controller.

The controller is comfortable to hold and the buttons are all easily accessible, assuming you are holding it correctly. Small yet it gets a lot done. I like it.
