i think the gamecube controller is pretty basic, confusing at first but easy enought to understand once you play the gamecube for alittle while.

I can't really tell the difference between any controllers, except for the N64 of course. But the GC controller's very comfortable compared to the 64

It's okay for some GC games, but horrible for anything else, especially GBA games. My main complaint is the joypad, it's too small to use as the main control device. For games that use the joystick and sometimes use the joypad, it's fine, but for a game that only uses the joypad...screw it, I don't feel like typing anymore. The joypad sucks and so does the Wavebird. I can't say the GC controller sucks because I haven't used a normal one since I got my Wavebird, but I hate how bulky that wavebird is.

Eh, the GC's controller is more confortable for the hands. And the buttons are placed in a much better way than PS2's controller, which is a copy of SNES'.

Exactly. They feel right in your hand. It's also easy to reach all the buttons.

I for one HATE Playstation controllers. I prefer the GameCube and Xbox controllers over them any day. Hell, I even prefer the 64 controller over Playstation controllers...I dunno, I just never got into the whole 3 R's and L's thing.

The GameCube's controller, if I dare say, were more ergonomic than PlayStation controllers. The handles fit smoothly, the joystick is in the proper place with the thumb, and do not require stretching any phalanges to move anything. Gladly, the Xbox systems also emulate the GameCube's fit with its joystick placement.
