i love this feature. i use it all the time.it's great that i can't carry my wii somewhere and play gamecube games and not have to carry both systems.that's a real hassle.i don't think nintendo is copying sony at all. that's just silly.

I think the backwards Compatibility is awesome!!! the only thing that kinda gets on my nerves is the fact that u have to reset the system to eject the disk.......they couldnt come up with some way of getting back to the home screen without all of the extra work? oh well..........Nintendo rules!!! LO LO Lukana!!!

its good because then i can borrow my friends GC twilight princess and not need to get the wii version. and btw the nintendo game boy was doing the whole playing prior system games long before the PS2 existed, so really who's copying who.

I like it because I can play good old gamecube games which I never finished (or even started for some of them) and some new games on a new console.

I love it... And no they are not copying the ps2..... How is it copying if..... Nintendo just wants us to be able to play Gamecube and Wii games all in 1 system.... You just can't "Copy" something like that.... -.-

yeah, its pretty an awesome future (though i dont own a GC)on wii you have every single nintendo console there has been, counting the virtual console. you can play nes games, snes games, 64 games and GC games too. wii owns any other console in that aspect

I missed out on all of last gen so it's been absolutely fantastic to catch up on some of the classic GC games. Absolutely love the feature.

considering the vast majority of wii games are shovelware, a good chunk of it's decent library IS the gamecube library.

I like it since it clears up some space.Though soon the gamecube games will arrive on wii and then it won't be as useful.

I like the feature because scince i sold my gamecube i can still play the games that i still have for it. im not sure that its copying the ps2 because the GBA was able to both GBA and GB/C games, also it was released before the ps2.

Yeah, Backwards compatibility is always a convenient feature and it worked well for me considering my Gamecube stopped working a few months before I got the system.
